you wouldn't believe how hard/tedious it is to build menus in Z80 ASM. I mean, those that looks halfway decent and not crappy like the TI-OS menus.
Back in my hay-day I sat down for four hours and wrote a nice little dynamic menu routine that looks pretty nice. Interested?

Eeems: Because I'm an idiot and mixed up my local labels so I thought there was a loop checking for a keypress, but there wasn't.

A bit of an update: Brought the game to school. It works for the most part between all combinations of 83+ family calculators using i/o. I still don't kniow about usb, however; I'll have to try that another time. So far the only bug I've found is that it hangs on the entrance screen 1 in 20 times, but I know why and I can fix it. Look forward to a beta release very soon.

Interesting idea. I can't wait to see what this will be when it's closer to completion.

Actually,
ZTetris and Ztris also had multiplayers. It was impossible to play from 83+SE to 83+, tho
IIRC you couldn't see what the other player was doing though.

ok then that solves my issue and wow that small does this work with just the io port or does it support usb linking?
I actually don't know. I've testing with ti83+ emu's, so I know at least the link port. It uses the tios's standard linking routines, so theoretically it should work for either.

Looks nice! What's the total program size?
2500'ish, but it changes each time I change something, which is pretty often.

wow looks awsome but i would add a "gui/link set up screen " to show that your linkd before you begin so it is not "iffy if they actually link up or not .....or can u explain how you link the games so that there is no reall wory about "missing the link and it crashing???
One would think that would be an issue, but it works without a hitch each time just so long as you're both in mirage before either of you starts the program.

So we got a foot of snow today, consequently leading to a snow day. To pass the time, I decided to add link functionality on to my Tetris game. It's still in more of a beta stage, with a couple of bugs, but it's 95% complete, I'd say. Any comments/ suggestions? Update: I finally have a beta release. Anybody with multiple calcs willing to test it out please let me know how it runs.

it would also be cool if this program could do integrals.
Hats off to you if you can make a program that will find antiderivatives.

Also Project M was monochrome until he added parralax scrolling. The framerate was a bit low, though, so grayscale seemed flickery
At the moment the framerate is fine; it's just a matter of getting the grayscale to look nicer when scrolling. I'm sure I'll think of something.

Why does it alyays Defrag at the end?
Yeah sorry about that. It's a bug of pti. It likes to randomly delete the app I'm using. Real calc doesn't do it.
