here's what you do
make jim_e's code an inc file, and .org it to $9d95, then at runtime, copy the code to $9d95, and then call it. Then it'll be in RAM, and can use SMC as needed. PS: make sure you clear out $9d95-$bfff before exiting the app, or bad things will happen. 138

My only complaint is that cross-page features sometimes don't work. 147

It's not just rct, everything is slow. Start-up really bites, and then there's a whole host of other random things that slow it down. I was just using RCT as an example since it's a frikin' isometric game, making it one of the easiest games to process ever.

XP Media, 1GB RAM (plenty for RCT btw), no idea on the HD.
EDIT: Well, I'm comparing it to an earlier computer I had, which ran on an AMD, was cheaper, but still ran much faster. I wish I still had that lappy the cat sat on it and broke the fan. Then, unwittingly, I used it without the fan, and it was fried within a week. 149

My laptop runs a core 2 duo, and it sux a**, it slows down just from playing roller coaster tycoon's isometric goodness. Get AMD, you'll be much happier

The RAM one is modified more often than the archived one. Its point is to put as little wear-and-tear on the flash as possible. It only modifies the archived one when it really needs to. (Kerm correct me if i'm wrong, cuz i'm totally just guessing)
