Ok, as staff at omnimaga, the calc world's largest RPG site, I feel somewhat obligated to produce an RPG. EvilFate is my first attempt at an RPG. So far I've written a masked 16xn sprite routine and an 8x8 tilemapper with 64xn tiles that runs buttery smooth. However, it looks like crap in screenshots, so i'll just post a demo app. Enjoy

My mistake. It is indeed 97 pages. The top archive page is 69h and the bottom archive page is 08h. 69h-08h=61h=97

both have 1.54 MB, i can attest to that, as my 84+ SE reads 1540k available when user archive is empty. The exact number of bytes is 1474560 bytes, or 90 pages of 16384 bytes each. And as for the 84+ SE running slower, this is only true in 15 mhz mode with interrupts enabled, as the interrupt routine at 0038h does a number of USB functions each time it triggers. When governed to 6 mhz, which they are when you are working in the tios, they run at the same speed.

agreed. grayscale seems wasteful for the simplistic games i'm writing.

just an update. I've almost finished the code for the shell, and have also almost completed the AI in TicTacToe, and am only at around 9k, leaving a whopping 7k for sudoku...and if we assume that sudoku takes 2k (which it won't) i still have 5k for bells and whistles. Any suggestions?? EDIT: perhaps 3D falldown is in order?
