possibly, it's just that i had to set the default program and none of them worked... and when i tried to set it to run with java.exe it didn't do anything. so i had to use the method i described above...
wait, i need to ask something... when you run it, does it popup with both the cmd window and the game window? Maybe there should be a score counter for the game? 1624

I thought i just said in the previous post that i had java v6 update 22 installed (i updated it 2 days ago)....
anyway i got it to work. but it was complex... i had to copy the jar file into C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin then run java.exe through cmd and then give it the command: C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin>java -jar snake.jar then i created a shortcut for it to make things easier steps to create a shortcut: 1. create a shortcut to java.exe (in C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin) on your desktop 2. right click and choose properties 3. Go to shortcut tab and paste this in the Target box: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -jar snake.jar 4. Run it and enjoy! it worked and it is a nice game. As meishe91 and Dj_omni said, i would like it if there was a chance for the user to get ready to begin the game and also when it ends - it closes so suddenly too, maybe a retry option? 1626

yeah it's really small and useful, and it is quite annoying when it is big.
there are lots of options that can be configured, im sure that nearly everyone will find the right config for their desired design in rocketdock 1631
General Calculator Help / How do you type chinese characters on a TI-nspire OS2.1?« on: November 06, 2010, 11:43:39 pm »
I noticed a while ago on os 2.1 that i could switch to the chinese language, however, i didn't know how to type them. I saw a moving screenshot by goplat on typing chinese screenshots here:
http://ourl.ca/7762/137325 HOw do i do that? i would so love to type chinese! oops question solved.... in another topic from goplat First, you have to choose it as the language (from the home menu, go to "5:Settings & Status" and "1:Change Language..."; it's the last two options) Press the flag button to toggle between Chinese input on and off. When it's enabled, a "?" symbol appears in the upper-right. Type in the word you want phonetically (in Pinyin for Simplified Chinese, in Bopomofo for Traditional Chinese), then press the number for the correct character. 1632

oh it's by elementcoder. don't worry guys, we both keep email contact with each other and he told me that he was working on something similar. id better try his program...
Ok now ive tried it... his health bars are quite different and the same to mine... a advantage of his is that they can be dragged around without affecting the bar... he uses some geometry method that i haven't figured out yet... Also i am releaseing early a newer version of my health bars that should be on ticalc.org 1635

im not sure if i have the original rubiks cube (it looks exactly like the original but it is from Taiwan cuz in Australia it's really expensive $20AUD) but it can't be taken apart, (well i haven't really tried)
It moves ok, but maybe it can be lubricated a bit? i dunno... |
