I never mentioned my musical talent in the Introduce Yourself! when i first joined.
I play a musical instrument. I began playing the piano in 2001. So i have been playing for almost 10 years!!!
In July 2010 I completed AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) Piano For Leisure Eighth Grade level.
I am now working on completing the next level.

I have also recently begun composing. As to date i have completed 3 melodies that you all might like! I have placed my 3rd melody on the music downloads section waiting to be approved. I will provide a link when it is approved.

Enjoy!

Computer Usage and Setup Help / Re: Never Gonna Give Up my New Laptop
« on: November 04, 2010, 05:07:05 am »
possibly, i have heard about this... wait... i just had a brainwave

I have a dell latitude xt2 (it's ma laptop i use to forum on omnimaga) but i have heard that students in the grade above me (they have Lenovos) had some fried melted! harddrives and stuff.

I dunno. Dell is very different in Australia than in the US. In Australia, u can just build your own desktop computer (laptops are something different) which is why Dell is so successful in the US

In reply to the original post...

Wow 50 dollars! (USD) that's crazy, and nice specifications!
my dell xt2 cost $2262 (what a ripoff) well kind of cuz it has touchscreen/multitouch
and insurance and everything
it was required that a computer was needed to go to my school. (but u can borrow an older lenovo)

TI Dutch - ti-nspire tns files i got from some website... (wait i recently put it inside TI folder)

think you can still have a shortcut for that, it's somewhere in the google search results
and the utorrent can be moved, but it looks best if u want it to the very left on a quick launch bar

oh that icon, it's not exactly a show desktop icon, it's "open up windows explorer and navigate to the desktop folder". Windows 7 already has a show desktop button in the bottom right (also right click on this button for options such as peek at desktop, and show desktop)
keyboard shortcuts for desktop
Windows Key + D Show desktop
Windows Key + M Minimise all windows
They are different

I mean all to the left unlike in your screenshot, where the uTorrent icon isn't even completly to the left.
do u mean unlike or like?

General Calculator Help / Re: Ndless problems
« on: November 02, 2010, 05:46:24 am »
hmm when i used ndless 1.1 and reverted back to 2.1 it had no problems (much less than originially getting ndless on the calc, i had to be persistent a few times) basically do what apcalc said. open up the maintenance menu, home enter p on and hold those 4 keys until half of the loading bar then delete the os.

Maybe if you're really desperate, try to do a whole format (but since u said u already did that then i don't know)

Be persistent, it may not work first time. or the second....

EDIT: i actually haven't tried ndless 1.1.1, but i have tried ndless 1.1

All to the left? What do u mean? (you can drag them over) but at least it is possible to make it function like vista and xp (i had that configuration myself for a while)
What i don't like about combining them all is that you can't really jump straight to the window you want, you have to hover over it and then choose. so i chose the 'combine when taskbar is full' option
