ok then #614: you always check the forum stats to see if you're in the top ten in any of the catergories #615: Your calc batteries need to be replaced once a fortnight (or so) #616: You bring your calc overseas #617: You post screenshots of your programs on Facebook only to find out after that they don't move (damn!) #618: You ported WFRNG to any of the various platforms (there are a few still uncovered, who'll port them?)

61kb? what? does that mean it has less than a 9950? (64kb ram) only 61kb of space for programs?

ooh very nice, it really looks like a smartphone. i guess this is a big step up from the 3 colour 9850 and 9950 calcs that Casio released quite a few years back. does it have lots of features from the 9860 for eg? or any compatibility. i guess teachers would think it was a smartphone at first glance... this is actually a really good way to mock the TI-nspire!!! rotf for ti's actions at limiting such a calc that had potential! saying that TI-nspire is old fashioned and the new fashion is the Prizm and it actually turns into a prism.. really good ad! kucalc!

Norton used to be the worst, true, clogging up system resources and taking all space up but in the past few years since it released Norton 360, it has improved massively and is now among the top 3 security suites. I use Norton 360 v4.0 myself and the new file insight feature is something unique. But the Norton Antivirus by itself is useless. better to have Internet SEcurity or even better get Norton 360. And McAfee I think is the one that is now taking up lots of system resources. also very annoying when i install adobe flash player because a McAfee security scan likes to piggyback on it.
Anyway on your weird files, im not sure, some dump files that wabbitemu dumps when performing operations? maybe you changed some setting? they look like c/c++ code files where they have c files h files etc. i don't think you should worry about it too much as long it doesn't affect the running of your comp;uter

ooh lots of commenets! for DJ omni, i think i kind of get whtat you mean the For( loop can create animating health bars!!! also one note, my cdalc right now is dead and i have to wait to get new batteries, fortunately i have the program on my computer i can run it through the emulator and write my tutorial from there. stay tuned!
I don't think ti would be actually against this since it's just using their incapable BASIC language. just a BASIC program. however if i were to use assembly (coding in C which i don't know how to) well that would be more prone to TI suspicion
but if they did actually sue me or something, well after TI-84SE discontinuation and the rest... it's probably getting unethical. seriously, i think Casio doesn't even go nearly as far as limiting TI-nspire BASIC language in the first place
Then again i think TI doesn't really care about what programs are released in BASIC language anyway (look at all the ones on ticalc.org) i think it's the assembly programs ti's worried about...

ACagliano, your response checks every box! I really appreciate your contributions in your post! As for the health bars, i was working it out and found how to display variables so no problem! Text health has already been sorted out. you can visit the topic and see the progress i have made on the ti-nspire here: http://ourl.ca/7009.new#new you may also like to know that i will be releasing a tutorial also soon. Well done on your pokemon game. [rated up post] edit: coming back, i haven't actually got the quick scrolling down text and visual health bar on my program but i believe it is possible.

edit: yeah, there is no split topic button at the bottom or top, only lock topic. also they are the only ones who can merge threads dj omni suggested the idea, i think it's a good one but also when it is split to give a link to where it went.

a big thanks for that, you are one of my favourite members, and the one who gave a really good response to my terrible post. 2nd edition of apology is up, (sorry, im a kind of perfectionist) it addresses the health bar issue more i think. I tried to shorten it down, but half failed. However the personal apology to SnakeX is short and sweet.
