it would actually take a while, considering the inefficient way that BASIC for nspire is written. for greyscale, i don't think so. because you can choose from 1 of 9 plot styles, one is thin (just a single pixel) others are squares, circles, crosses etc and they're all the same colour. disappointing
oh something else, when i saw a monopoly game for the nspire i tried it. it was a fake version of monopoly. i planned to make a real 40 space monopoly board and this was in greyscale with different colours for each property group so making shapes of different colours is possible. however i didn't know how to plot at that time so i stopped. however for plots, only 9 designs. limited but still it will look good. so now i discovered this discovery i can continue making monopoly! 1894

ok! so basicall they're a greeting!
well, it's not that big a discovery i analysed games that were already graphical such as hearts, and solitaire by elliot way. apparently i was mystified for months. in the end i found that they were scatter graphs but the type had been changed to a normal function graph so the equation for the scatter graphs was hidden. they hide it well. anyway to make the nice graphics they had to put in 100s of points, and put them in together to form shapes, by creating lists that were effectively the coordinates for each point. therefore they can be changed.!!! also i found out how to display variables in a graph from programs. this will be extremely useful as i have implemented this into mypoker game with real time stats on player chips. also i have thought of another way to progress my poker game into the graphing window instead of the calc window. i can store a string in a variable and display it on the graph and change it when i want to. this will be great for a tutorial on poker! 1895

whoah ill try it now, i didn't see the post. yesterday i made a great discovery and i should begin to make graphical games or add them to current games soon!!!
yes i know you can program in C, using ndless, but 1. i don't know how to program in C 2. i tried ndless but of course there's the os1.1 bug. 3. battery drainage is high, when I switched to ndless/os1.1 it was 75%, about a week later when I switched back it was 25% the peanuts don't do anything! am i meant to click on them? 1896

Phew! I have exams and i just sat a physics exam, as i will be busy over the next few days, I won't have time to develop my games. I
After that I won't be available for at least 17 days. thank you apcalc, i am still not finished with the hold' em project. i released a new version, 0.9.1 yesterday, and i hope to make the game much more graphical, like elliot way's hearts, and solitaire, however i will need to learn more advanced programming which i don't know how to yet. I followed the programming tutorials part 1 on ticalc.org but i would like to know how to create graphical games, also i would like to create computer AIs, but that would be complicated, i would appreciate it if someone would help i would put your name in the contributors ok ive tried it nice but i still like the FULL version that i hybrid crossed with goplat's because it actually makes the rom file for you through easy steps and also the boot2.img.raw file too. also the version i have allows you to name the files to anything you want. try it!!! it's back on the previous page. 1900

one problem... i can't send a document in goplat's 031 version but i can in the gtk version
maybe because i modified it too much, ill try and fix it ok made a mistake, its because installed os1.1 onto gtk version and i could send document. however i also tried installing 2.0 onto gtk version when i press connect i notice in the cmd that it says Unknown OS version, hmmm... this also is displayed when i try to install 2.0 and 2.1 onto goplat's version. any help here? ok i think i got it now, i read the 026 readme and foundout that only 1.7 can transfer the documents 1902

ASM / Re: Memory Juggling?« on: September 04, 2010, 11:22:08 pm »
wouldn't that be hard, it's not just as simple as copying it, there's extra stuff such as configuration for that particular part of memory and more... ie" it's not just black (filled) and white (empty)
...does that make sense? 1904

ok i just updated my emulator. i think i was actually making a mistake when i was referring to xspires and goplats, i updated my 026 gtk to 026r1, i copied my whole folder then i got the goplat 031 and copied that stuff into the folders that i already had. i ran the specially made batch file i had (im not sure its xspires but i think it is) and did options and it came up with goplat's 031!!! so now i have 2 copies, when i want the graphical version i posted in my screenshot above i go back to my original folder, when i want to run os2.1 then i go to the goplat version. i wish however that xspire would post more updates for a clearer screen and update his gtk version to 031.
I shall be posting my 'HYBRID' 031 version soon onto here. NOTE: now it is here! i had to remove the raw, img, and os files otherwise the file would be humoungous to download (was 189MB now just under 4MB also i shall be adding this to my list of tutorials i have to complete at my website: http://www.jhgenius01.webs.com 1905
