1) Moved topic redirects now give wrong URLs. Eg http:///index.php?topic=6666 or something like that
2) Logs at http://omnom.omnimaga.org/irc/efnet/?channel=omnimaga#bottom are all scrambled rather than being in date order.
3) Search doesn't return every result. For example, from the site root (board index or portal, where search finds stuff in every board by default) the word ponies matched no results. (which is impossible considering the MLP stuff on here)
Yes wow. well actually going to http://ourl.ca/9263 shows that the topic is offlimits or missing Search isn't working really for me at all. And how did omnom logs get scrambled up? there are also no logs since April 23 2012

I don't get the poll. The best way? or the Best way to learn? And yes the TI-81 does not have a link port. even it if did (for the 6th time) you would still need a cable to connect to the computer which I doubt you have. and stop the dam triple posting you have been warned more than once.
Maybe read the forum rules. It helps clear up things in general

My concern was more that new posts are out of sync with the rest. In fact I'm not even sure if the old posts from the old boards are in sync with the positive ones. If the server was changed to GMT+1, maybe it would be best to edit old post timestamps to be in sync?
Also since both Cemetech and Omnimaga are pretty much the only really active TI forums anymore and they are both very active, people jumping from one site to the other might get confused more with both sites running different time zones.
You can customise the time in personal settings? But I can't remember what is the default time in Cemetech. They have a nice dropdown menu for the timezone. and yeah about the posts out of sync but can't remember when posts were actually post to compare what the timestamp is now.

Oh wow. How could I have not noticed the final release! I was addicted to this game a lot and finished all levels except for 19. Can't do it sob ;( when the platforms become incredibly short at fast speed and there is a slight delay when I press the tab button.

There are quite a few things incorrect/incomplete on Inspired Lua and wiki, but it's a pretty good resource. So what's the usefulness of on.help when you have to press two buttons to access it?

It's probably not up all the time I guess... Maybe I'll try now.

If Desktop PCs phase out, would there always be a computer on which a music software writing program could be used, such as Sibelius?
Thanks.

I was thinking if Desktop PCs were going to be phased out then they would mostly be replaced by laptops They are already kinda getting phased out anyway. Apple does have a lot to do with it (look at the Mac Pro, no not the MacBook Pro, but the Mac Pro, hasn't been updated for years and unlikely to do ever again), also the rise of smartphones and tablets have made people less rely on laptops, let alone desktops. Heya and welcome here. I will be moving your topic in the music section.
I don't think PC-based platforms will phase out, maybe desktops PC will be completely replaced with laptops, but Windows will always remain around, so you should be fine with the current software you use. I believe Sibelius is for Windows, right? I cannot load the main site for some reasons.
Sibelius is for Windows, and Finale (another music composing software which my school uses) is also for Windows. Also interesting you say that Sibelius.com doesn't load up. Well I tried Opera and got this message: Works fine in chrome though. I wonder what makes it not renderable in Opera?

Wow that's a good summary, though it does remind people just the differences between the two sites and that we lost a lot by closing TIMGUL and merging with Omnimaga.

GMT+1 looks like it. Though I would personally prefer it to be set on GMT time to make it a bit easier (since nearly everyone knows their time zone relative to GMT right?) Hmm there was a topic for this I think: http://ourl.ca/15272And yay! the all important Stats Bars on action=stats are back!

From another topic which bounced on this related topic: Yay!
Question, though: Will the server now be permanently set on GMT+1? Because it used to be GMT-5 and since April 14th or so, all new posts have been offset by 6 hours compared to the old ones (kinda like on barrett server one day)
Hmm I didn't realise that the 6 hour discrepancy would mean GMT+1. All I thought was that it was the completely wrong time off by 6 hours

right now we have 14203 members.
I don't think we actually have 14203 members, I think there has been 14203 member registrations, most of which failed or were removed thankfully. Good to see that the member registrations are no longer increasing exponentially otherwise we'd have something like the Axe Parser Wiki (that fixed too, and I helped a bit on that!) When UTI merged into Cemetech db, it went from 20000 members to 1800 or something I think.
W8 how does that work? Did they remove spam/bot accounts? Or is it something else?

Hmm interesting. I was reminded of this topic when I went through my Onenote Notes and found a post I posted in this topic in my library of unfiled notes. It was a long post http://ourl.ca/13458/254645 so I had pasted it into OneNote. I also realised that I didn't ever get to read the replies after mine, and so I have 6-7 months later. I wonder if the status bar is still working (I think it is last time I tried in Opera), but Omnom or the Channel itself has been less reliable recently with netsplits and whatnot.

Well looks like it's changed back again! The Omnom times are correct but when I checked forum timestamps it was wrong. Went to profile and autodetect and what was 14 turned to 8 which means that the 6 hour discrepancy is there again!

Lobsters Opposing Pink Themes. Interesting how the details in the header (such as black text and lines) are easier to view with in this pink theme and the retro v5 theme.

This caused the netsplit? Horrendus! Personally I like it though the text is rather harder to read though. Lol to those people who thought the blue theme was too heavy coloured already
