One thing I thought that would be cool would be some sort of custom tag with cookies that let people minimize fake news, but then that would allow anyone to use those tags in their posts.
I've just got to go back to this, because it's a good idea essentially. But if you make it like the ticalc.org news does it (where you can hide fake news), then that would be fine anyways. To be even more secure you could make only Newsers/Managers apply the particular tag

(Crosspost from Cemetech) The basics of the United-TI Forum are in place! Some of it needs work, still, particularly in the area of avatars, profile linking, and BBCode adjustment (translation?), but the content is all more or less there. Please report (big) bugs to me, but don't bother with the little stuff, like where I've left myself obvious notes or where it says Cemetech instead of United-TI when it shouldn't

Wow I like the blue theme. Definitely brings a bit of variety to the United TI Archives. Or is this an existing theme that you can choose?EDIT: No it cannot be chosen for the main website but I'd use it if it became available I think. It's a pretty good job so far.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you have to put Dispgraph somewhere in your program too.
Yup, thanks haha.
DT was rather quick on that too. Credits go to him too! It's good to see your making some good progress on Axe (more than I ever have so far)

Indenting is hard on the calculator, as tab moves to the next line :-(.
I think I just put in two spaces as an indent. Works well enough! Then Notepad++ should do indenting very nicely on the PC Nice progress you have here so far linuxgeek.

A spoiler? Ah good to see Dingus was playing along. It was quite serious formal like though.

On an off-topic note, does anyone know how to figure out the URL of a wiki logo? I was wondering since I wanted to put it in the news post but it seems the link is hidden, encrypted or something.
It's in the css, and got it with firebug http://tistory.wdfiles.com/local--files/home/tistorylogo.png
Oh I thought you could just right click on the picture and choose open link in new tab. As for Firebug for FF, chrome has the javascript console which I've found immensely useful and similar to Firebug I also put information in the Jason Ho page (both Jason Ho's will split pages later if possible)

So as of yet there hasn't been really anyone who has been 'forced' into upgrading their OSes? Maybe just rumours? I really hope that doesn't change with OS 3.2 :O

Hmm that would explain the relative oldness of the flash games available (well of course it says 2004-2007) So I guess other games haven't really been made compatible for the SMF Arcade then Maybe, just maybe there are some arcade/game collections plugins for SMF 2.0 so that's why this SMF arcade hasn't really been developed anymore.

* Jonius7 hopes that this filtering system of disallowing double, triple etc spacing does not pass onto signatures (as was in the case of United-TI Signatures). The layout of my signature would be stuffed up then.

Well I had to refresh some pages several times but when it first came up I almost freaked out. DJ_O doesn't have avatars like that! Then I realised that maybe it was. It looks freaky...

Nah I mean for example it's 1:52 AM on my computer right now, and the forum time is not off (except by 2 minutes but that doesn't matter). Server default time is GMT-5 by the way and forum time offset based on that is 0. After the downtime the server time became GMT+1 so since the forum offset was not changed, it caused new posts to be posted 6 hours ahead, while everything else was not.
Not sure why you have time disparity on your side.
W8 I'm not sure you get what I'm saying, but it doesn't really matter. The timestamps are perfectly fine I think, except for the 2 minutes you mentioned of course.

old version? It's the latest one IIRC. The text isn't yet drown properly because I did not implement everything yet.
Sorry I got it partially wrong. It just looked old because an old version I had had the player control as a square sprite whereas on the latest version it is an arrow sprite. I also forgot to account for later features such as Speed up every 1000 points and change it colour.

Noice, though I think that is an old version of Chockosta's Cubefield Lua game And interesting developments for a browser version, as I was limited by your Linux scripts (I don't have Ubuntu installed atm as I did in the past)
