Yeah they don't line up with the number keys, so it can be difficult to play between the various Z80 models.

Lua / Re: Getting started with Lua on Nspire
« on: March 04, 2012, 08:19:10 pm »
Wow great discussion here.
Yeah nspire BASIC is really limited, though you can make "menu" based games where you select particular commands/programs to run. Graphing stuff is limited though, but there are some things you can do with changing variables in programs.

Yes I meant that of course. :P
It can obviously draw much more than just a pony. Maybe a landscape with some rainbows......

What's next for the pony program? Going to implement it in anything?

Well it is a beta so surely you must be planning some further development on this... It would do nice as a feature in a larger game.

I'm not really sure how to use this. I can use something like Katamari which used javascript and a bookmark but it just does a google search when I paste it into the address bar.

News / Re: Omnimaga introduces Minus World on forums

I think it's more like -2459. Note that the IDs aren't in chronological order in the Minus world.
But I think they mostly are though. Just that some are deleted, and don't exist.
ie. they follow a general trend of some sort.

Student Software can be a pain. I doubt that the TI-nspire Computer Link would work with CXes though, as I have a clickpad.
There are versions of the Student Software on tiplanet.org. maybe the latest version/correct version needs to be installed...

It's good to see you haven't left yet though. Some of us were expecting you to leave quite soon. Whatever you do, good luck and I am looking forward to progress on this game!

It doesn't really work with a function, as the equation would be undefined when trying to express with f(x) or y, but the parametric equation works nicely.
On another note, asymptotes (the vertical ones shown as dotted lines) can also be shown (in a manual fashion though).

Other Calculators / Re: The difference between a Port and a Clone
« on: March 04, 2012, 05:26:14 am »
I'll have to add in calc84maniac's definitions for remake and clone

Quotes from OmnomIRC by calc84maniac:
if you're not using any assets from the original, it's classified as a remake, not a port
I guess a clone is pretty much something that copies the gameplay of an existing game, and isn't by the same developer

News / Re: OS 3.2 announced for this Spring

Haha Hayleia ;D :D,
It might be because I remember there was a ndless raycaster demo waaay back in the days of ndless1.1 that looked like ndoom.

Oh well. I liked xspire's nspire_emu_gtk. Sad to say it's outdated now and there haven't been any new posts from xspire from unitedTI.

And I was personally looking forward to seeing great progress on this game, Stefan. But good luck to you and Jim.
