TI-Nspire / Re: Rush Hour
« on: March 02, 2012, 04:40:46 am »
Are you using nspire_emu_060? If so then Goplat has changed some commands and commands that worked in <0.53 may not work now.
EDIT: Hmm I see yes that post you showed me is for nspire_emu_053. Things have changed in 060. I believe that the TI-nspire Emulator thread here on Omnimaga has more information, somewhere in the middle of the thread. http://ourl.ca/9360;action=printpage
I am also creating batch files (edited from Levak's ones) for the new version so there won't be the big hassle of command line stuff.

Quick thing though, /N will not do you any good in 060. It does not create a rom file anymore.
Also .bin files are different only if you want to use boot1 (with boot2)
.bin files are hard to dump/get, as they are illegal to get from other people, and you need an actual calc connected to dump boot1.

But they are required to emulate a CX.

Also, have you ever made nspire_emu work before?
I know it can be quite confusing, very confusing in fact. I hope to change that with some tutorials somewhere.

This is great! We are now able to view a day by day account of postings all the way back to the old forums!
This is an exciting development and a great addition to the statistics page.
While it does cover most things, I believe there may be some inconsistencies with polls and Post Ratings and others, as they are still from 2008 - the new forum.

Sounds good, kevkid. I have programmed some TI-nspire Basic Games myself, most notable of which is Jason's TI-nspire Hold 'em. You might like to look at if you want (link in signature). The other projects in TI-nspire Basic have been stalled as I am thinking about porting (or possibly cloning them, according to jimbauwens) them to Lua or Axe Parser for TI-84+.

Wow! The ingenuity of the original clearly looks translated to the calc version, man, I've never heard Core Wars but sound like quite a game I've never seen before. I'll see how I go as soon as it is available.

Prizm or not, I'll just stick to my CFX-9850GB+ for now lol.

Hmm I have not opened my NXT for 2+ years. I'll see what I can do to try your game asap.

So the quote header got into the way and changed the formatting order. Cool.

lol it didn't seem like anything had changed and then I refreshed the second time and much better, must be Google Chrome Cache lagging.

Yeah I noticed that, probably, but also because I'm on Australian time. If it was still there on the 19th it would have most likely still have appeared on the 20th Australian time.

That's an interesting way to attempt to simplify the complex processing layers of Minecraft PC into the calc. From what you said, turiqwalrus, it's just the layers on ground and holes that you can move through.
Now that means if a tree were to appear in the middle of a field of stone, you would have to chip away at all that stone to get to the tree.
Good luck with the project yrinfish and the rest of the team!

Now even the minecraft stuff on xeverion.com has disappeared...

Ah sorry of course I forgot that they were there on the first post even though I had view the post several times before. I must have got confused with someone else's, when I was trying to find the latest version of their project. Good job to you Deep Thought for keeping yours updated, and also naming your versions clearly too! ;)

Oh damn it I so wanted a Prizm. Would help me get back into Casio Programming again.
But oh well, I don't live in the US anyway.
