TI-Nspire / Re: Rush Hour
« on: February 25, 2012, 05:53:38 am »
Hey cyanophycean314!
I was thinking of doing a Rush Hour port myself (in either Lua or Axe) but looks like you have made significant progress on yours already! I own the electronic handheld version, and the levels are sorted differently. Firstly there are 5 difficultly levels and within there are around 10-15 unique levels within each difficulty. Each unique level can be rotated/mirror imaged 4 times giving around 600 levels in total? Perhaps you may want the layouts for these levels? I can give these to you.
Anyway good luck.

Never mind I created a rom image using the way I said above, install OS and save Flash in the File-> menu. But it's a shame I can't create it directly commandline anymore. At least I think I can't

Wow games for NXT, I have not even considered that for the NXT 1.0 I bought 5 years ago, actually I have seldom touched it because I didn't know what to do with it besides run some sample programs/tutorials.

Nice! Maybe you should put your description you worked so hard on in the downloads section in your first post too, so people have an idea of what you're talking about.
EDIT: Oh it's the readme also. Lol.

Math and Science / Re: Why doesn't zero divided by zero work

There is one flaw in that tho, what if n were 0 to start off with then taking 0 from n would still equal 0 and I'd be done!!! :D. It's a good simple example tho, not taking the flaw into account.

If there was a program like this that did this nicely that would help greatly.
TokenIDE goes as far as to convert an image to black and white, but not greyscale unfortunately

It did take me a while to find the attachment, perhaps you could put it on the first post? I know there's that SMF View all attachments feature but I think you have to view the topic in the particular board, and that took a while.
Anyway it looks really cool, am in the process of trying it.

Computer Projects and Ideas / Re: A New Programming Language
« on: February 25, 2012, 05:24:42 am »
Wow, sounds very promising, creating a programming language with C++. I personally tried to learn C++, but didn't get much further than half the SAMS Teach Yourself C++, and also looked at C++ for Dummies. That's pretty much it for me. I mainly used Codeblocks when typing C++, a great GUI type program that can bundle in all the complier and code editing in a great looking program (you have to install the compiler separately, but some installers come bundled with mingw)

Good luck with your project!

It's probably the best key detection system out of all of your games, if not certainly a different method.

BIG thanks to builderboy for introducing me to this game.

Hi everyone,
Today builderboy showed me the link to a really cool mini golf Flash game. What's different to most other flash golf games is that for each hole, there is a sponsor brand printed onto the surfaces of each hole, and also that all holes are viewable on screen and connect to each other. The graphics and design of the whole course is simplistic and modern.
There are 12 holes in total, and once I started playing I got hooked. Got Bogey*7 the first time, and have been improving since. Some holes are really innovative and have quirky designs for your golf ball to try and manoeuvre around into.
To play Adverputt just go to http://www.adverputt.com/

My best score currently is Kazooie or 10 under par.
I have smashed my personal record with a Thunderbird or 15 under par!!!
Post here your thoughts about the game, and what your best score is.

And big thanks again to Builderboy for showing me and others this great game.
Enjoy!

This is turning out to be a great game Chockosta! btw did you want a moving screenshot? I can make one, as I did for 3d Cubefield.
And I'll have to put up a proper tutorial for making moving screenshots somewhere...

It's good to have regular backups for websites. Must take a while though (Gigs and Gigs of data).
