General Discussion / Re: OmniPlayer2« on: February 24, 2012, 04:08:53 am »Glad you like that song. It was actually the first time I don't use a MTV-Music-Generator-related program to make a song. However it suffered from that (repetitiveness and took 15 more hours than usual to be created).Probably, La Porte Du Soleil ranks high in my list. Though not 100% sure, Land of Hopelessness is a really good one too, The Game that we Lost also. As for nitacku, I've been sorely ignorant of everyone's music except for DJ_O's (it was a torrent that introduced me to DJ_O's music), but that may change. Sorry. @Thundermagnet, visit this thread, it has a spreadsheet of all the details about all of DJ_O's songs. http://ourl.ca/13482 993

Yeah I didn't mention that one because DJ_O had already mentioned it a few posts above: http://ourl.ca/15283/286689
So I meant about other sub-domains besides axe.omnimaga.org. And the wiki works too! 994
Math and Science / Re: Why doesn't zero divided by zero work« on: February 24, 2012, 03:51:44 am »
Yeah, we're learning Calculus (mostly differential atm) in Year 12, and we had a long discussion about limits.
The limit technically does not exist at the given value e.g.: lim h->0 f(x)=3x^2+7x-5. At h=0 the equation is undefined as we're dividing by 0 (The answer could be infinity, for all we know, or it could be 9000.00000032), but the point of Calculus (well at least this part of calculus) is that we are to find the theoretical derivative of the equation when h=0, even though it technically does not exist. Hope that made some sense, and I may have made a mistake. 995
Computer Projects and Ideas / Re: Collision Detection-Less Snake« on: February 24, 2012, 12:44:26 am »
Oh wow. Looks like there hasn't been any progress on this since when I looked at this a long time ago. I deleted my copy of snake and I made a reminder to revisit this topic if I could. Seems like nothing has changed. I quite liked the game, despite being basic to play.
Also there was something wrong with my computer/java installation. I had reinstalled Windows and it worked perfectly fine by double-clicking it. And no cmd window! EDIT: Oh the file is no longer on mediafire. I'll have to restore it from an old backup 996
Minecraft Discussion / Re: OmniMine« on: February 24, 2012, 12:36:50 am »
Oh oops I didn't realise that this was the Omnimine topic. I thought there was already another topic for Omnimine. And this has been the topic where there has predominantly been general discussion, meetings, videos etc. about Minecraft

Humour and Jokes / Re: Juju in danger?« on: February 24, 2012, 12:34:32 am »
Yay! Cheers to Juju! And you're not in danger, I hope.
I am also wondering, we must have lots of spambots or something rather because there have been 8774 accounts registered and there are only 1849 who are now currently members. That means nearly 7000 duplicate/fake/spam/bot accounts have been created and deleted. Is this right? (I'm 874, btw) 998

Yeah graphics can have a big impact on first impressions, definitely I can see that in the screenshot puzzle game, very nice and appealing. Elimination is up to you, though it's a game already as it stands, it depends.

I tried the very good, very very good thing the other day. and then i went very bad
Sometimes it would just ignore me and say very very ... good sometimes it would say why? Also there is a limit to the number of very's there are. If you put one more it puts the same amount of verys as before, i.e. reply with the exact same answer. 1003

General Calculator Help / Re: nspire cas OS deleted cannot install new, OS is corrupted error any file« on: February 23, 2012, 10:20:27 pm »
Yeah, education.ti.com is notorious for just removing these old versions. I heard that 1.7 was still available in a hidden link but that was almost a year ago. There was another website (which I shall not mention) where you could be sent email links to many OS versions, but it seemed stuck last time I tried it (which was also many months ago).

Oh I didn't know that. No wonder I've seen many of them with their profile pages still viewable.
