Goplat -> It doesn't prove anything, but the TI-Nspire Diagnostic Software 2.00.1183 (the one included in TouchPad Nspire with the new hardware) still contains the NOR flashing/updating strings. The chip has been merged with the ASIC, but seems to be still writeable...
IIRC, the diagnostic software contains a lot of useless stuff such as the SD card test. That NOR flashing exists does not necessarily mean that it's possible. (Correct me if I'm wrong - I'm not really an Nspire guy.)

I'm blaming the fact that the bot for OmnomIRC is now OmniBot45 and not Omnimaga, since the problem started then. (Right after Omnimaga froze, and then OmniBot45 joined the channel and flooded #omnimaga with the missing messages.)
I prefer OmnomIRC rather than OmniBot45, afterall, we're not bots
But the bot is a bot, after all. It forwards the messages.

Removing the LED would involve opening your calc, behind the LCD, right?
You might also use an ice spike to destroy the LED
Or they could use tape to cover the LED, without actually destroying it.

Nspire forbidden in exams?
Maybe then they'll give us a calculator we want
That would be awesome.

From what I've read, it can go higher than 148.

Oh, so the Korean names in the add-ins are in Unicode? I thought Casio were going to use more non-standard encodings...

PM Yeong with the Korean one, I'm sure he'll know if its Korean or not.
Reading the characters from the file is not possible. I can only post the hex (and its ASCII counterpart, but that is just garbage). B5 A5 CE BB BB BB CB E3 (µ¥Î»»»Ëã) BC B8 BA CE (¼¸ºÎ) BD CC D1 A7 CC BD CB F7 (½Ìѧ̽Ë÷)

Sorry for the double post. I believe most (if not all) of the information about the .g3a file format from the Casio Prizm documentation topic has been added to the wiki. I don't fully understand what z80man has discovered about the checksums, so it would be helpful if he (or someone else) could check that the info on the wiki is correct. We're also working on identifying the languages that are used in the files. If you want to help, here's a list of them. (Characters that could not be read are marked as question marks.)
English: Conversion Geometry Picture Plot
Unknown: (JosJuice's guess: Spanish) Conversi?n Geometr?a Trazar Imgn

Portuguese: Convers?o (Conversão) Geometria Plot Imagem

Why would the availability of shells depend on things such as GIF mockups? Also, Axe might not be the best way to write an awesome shell. Assembly exists, and it's used for a reason. Axe isn't the magical answer to everything, although it is very useful for developing games. I'm not saying that Axe is bad - just that assembly fits better for shells.

You can also use ducksign to sign it on-calc ( check on-calc app signature topic something like that )
Ducksign does not modify the certificate properly.

The two extra English names in the add-in headers are possibly placeholder data in case Casio wants to add more languages in the future. They even made the .g3l format so that they could add more languages...

The processor used by the Prizm seems to be very different from Z80.
