I just remember reading it somewhere... The details (and the original Japanese text) are unclear to me.

I believe that KB originally was 1024, but then some dudes decided to change it to 1000 and create KiB instead.

Closing a bracket in Axe does not save any space. It just makes the parser become confused.

True. It doesn't help that the cable sometimes comes with the calc, though. It's a good thing but then people think it might cost like $1 or $2 X.x

On the other hand, I am sure some people will try to sell them $40 to people who are technology-illiterate. X.x

I don't think so... Technology-illiterate people don't need them
Of course not, everyone needs calculators :hyper:

BatLib / Re: SpriteLib
« on: December 04, 2010, 07:59:26 am »
-A program made in Hybrid Basic with SpriteLib does not require SpriteLib to run in a shell, right?
A program that uses xLib always requires xLib, even in a shell. A program that uses Celtic III always requires Celtic III, even in a shell. In the same way, a program that uses SpriteLib always requires SpriteLib, even in a shell.

The difference is that xLib and Celtic III are included in DCS, even though it's hard to notice.

The "fake" part is about the article is that WFRNG is featured. The program does exist, but it sadly isn't COMPLEATELAY BUG-PHREE.

The fake article about Asm WFRNG has a link to Asm WFRNG. It doesn't work properly in shells, though.

Ah, right, that makes a lot of emulators nested in each others. ;D

Kinda like if TI-Boy SE ran on the Nspire: It would be a GB emu running in a 84+, running in a TI-Nspire, running in Ncubate or Goplat's emu, running on a virtual machine because you have Mac OS. ;D
What about:
Linux > (Wine (which isn't really emulation but lol)) > Windows > Wii > DS > TI-84+ (or is that emulator TI-83+ only?) > Game Boy

Also it is now possible via your forum profile to disable smileys completly if you don't like them or if they slow down your Apple Macintosh II computer way too much.
I thought you knew we're all using TI-81s D:

Miscellaneous / Re: Calculator or Computer language help

Game Maker is good for learning and making short games, but can be hard to do large projects in it. Games tend to run slowly, and Game Maker was never really designed for programs that are not game-like.
Yeah I played some GM games and they were quite good. Most ran fast, but you need to buy the full version to do 3D stuff, I think.
Yeah. And 3D is especially slow. The full version is also required if you want to use network multiplayer, dlls or external graphics.
