sometimes a copy of a game may work while another may not. Sometimes just the region (japan, europe, america) seems to do a difference
Quite normal, as it was doing a difference on the true consoles too.
You had to cut a chip pin in order to play european games on your american NES, and in order to play american games on your european NES. Some bugs could then appear, due to the different refresh frequencies between PAL and NTSC (yes, some graphic features included in some games, did depend of the refresh frequency).
I've experienced both.
Unfortunately, I've had no experience, with the japanese console.
I suppose the emulator supports at least american ROMs. I wonder if european/japanese ROMs are supported by the emulator, as some games were released only in Europe, and many games were released only in Japan.
If the emulator supports American ROMs, it should automatically support Japanese ones too since they're both NTSC. PAL games are definitely trickier.

Yeah, that happens to me every time I view the stats after playing a level. Luckily it's nothing that a simple restart of the game doesn't solve

Do you have any programming experience besides for a couple weeks of TI-BASIC?
I've been using Game Maker and its built-in programming language for about two years. Yeah, I was going to start with that soon. I think I should program a bit more in TI-BASIC first, though.

It's called Unown, not unknown ;_; Welcome here! What's the last letter of the serial number (on the back of the calc)? That'll tell us if it has the extra RAM or not.
A. I was a bit confused at first, though, since there also was an S earlier in the serial number.

where did you buy that calc? if it isnt used then i doubt it has the RAM pages. It's used, but it was in mint condition when I got it. if you're looking for somewhere to start and already have some knowledge about the workings of basic then you should check out quigibo's Axe Parser. it's a good way of transitioning from basic to asm, if that's your goal, and is fast enough to make wonderful games on it's own. Yeah, I was going to start with that soon. I think I should program a bit more in TI-BASIC first, though. pokemon ftw, especially magikarp Metakarp is just the second best Pokémon. Everyone knows Metapod is better

...yeah. I don't have lot to say, actually. Got my first calculator about a week ago (a TI-84+ SE, I think it has the extra RAM pages but I'm not sure) and registered here about a week ago. I've programmed some small programs in TI-BASIC but I have no idea what kind of stuff I want to program right now And I'm kinda wondering what's up with all the peanuts and lobsters. s:

Pressing 2nd while a ship is onscreen makes the crane move a bit (or quite a lot if you hold the button) without dropping a block. I don't know if that's intentional or not, but I find it a bit odd. Other than that, nice game edit: typo
