Can't I just flash fx-CG20 software on it ?
Well, it would be nice if that worked. Sadly, Casio has a few security measures to prevent that. If they're as advanced as the Nspire OS protection or maybe even simpler than the Z80 calcs is something that I'm not sure about, but it would probably be easier to find a way to create images that are compatible with the fx-CG10. Qwerty has been analyzing part of the file format and jimbauwens has been trying to figure out another part of it, so maybe it'll be possible one day.

Ah ok. Will it stick to newer calcs? I was wondering since I'm sure there was already a FX-9860G wiki elsewhere (although idk if it's still online).
If enough people contribute to the non-Prizm articles, then I guess the wiki will be focused on both. The fx-9860G/GII articles on the Prizm wiki were actually moved from an old wiki which I believe doesn't work anymore.

I'm doing other important things instead, like sitting in front of my computer and calcs 24/7

I thought the Prizm Wiki was exclusively reserved for Prizm related material?
Nope. It's been expanded a bit to allow for anything Casio-related (as long as it's about calcs, of course).

That the Tetris Company doesn't notice doesn't mean that it isn't trademark infringement. Since TI is a company, they're probably trying to do everything they can to stay out of trouble.

calc84maniac ti-boyse 1.0.7 broke my cousins calc by it ran out of battery while he was playing pokemon
If the battery was empty then the calc isn't broken, right?
Well, if TI-Boy doesn't exit properly, the OS becomes corrupt. Resending it should make it fine again.

If you don't garbage collect when the calc asks you to, you're going to have very little memory left. Try garbage collecting and see if that fixes the issue.

Wouldn't they have to come out with Ndless 3.0 first?
If you want to run it on OS 3.0, then yes.

Is there any way to program those instructions into it?
No.

The keypad itself does not contain anti-gaming stuff, but TI's 84+SE emulator is slow and incomplete. A number of 84+ programs cannot work on it. I don't remember whether MirageOS and Omnicalc are among them, I'm no TI-Z80 expert.
The normal version of MirageOS doesn't work because it uses undocumented instructions. I'm not sure if Omnicalc works, but it's known to have very bad compatibility with MathPrint OSes.

Hi guys !
I'm looking for more information about "casio picture to .g3p converter"...
Qwerty.55 said that this soft have been released but I can't found it !
(sorry for my bad english, I'm french ! )
If you want to download the official converter by Casio, take a look at this post: http://ourl.ca/11207/230767However, this tool is intended for teachers only and the created images only work on the fx-CG20 and not the fx-CG10. There aren't any other converters at the moment, sadly.

* alberthrocks pokes Casio to make a TI-Connect, but 1000x better They have made a linking program for their calcs, but the Prizm doesn't use it since MSD mode is so much better.
Hmm.. I'm guessing the Prizm can handle as a host in the USB connection, what with the data-collecting tools and such. Would a program to use a flash drive be possible? I'm not talking about now, but at some point in the future when we know more about the USB port or something...
No, the Prizm is incapable of acting as a host. Mini-A cables won't even fit into the calc. I think data collection is done using the serial link.

Maybe the DLL was outside of the MSI? The only thing I'm sure about is that I found it in the temp folder.

It seems CASIO isn't too open about how to update their OS.... their update process is encoded inside the MSI! O_O The update process does not extract any useful files, and the updating is done inside the MSI.
(InstallShield self-extracting EXE -> InstallShield MSI -> OS Updater inside MSI)
I've dumped the MSI's contents for those who want to try to find a solution. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1016340/MSIDump.zip
In OS 1.02, I believe that the OS was contained within the OSupdateDLL.dll file, and a program was written to extract it. Is this DLL file still present? I haven't been able to look at the 1.03 MSI yet.
