Something I'm wondering about is why they chose to add a 0D compression requirement in 3.0.2, blocking all of our Lua programs, but then give us a method to create 0D-compressed files so that we can use Lua again...
Because they had no idea we'd find out about Lua and even hate them for blocking it and C and Asm.
We found out about Lua before TI even realized that 3.0.1 was glitchy. If we didn't know about how we accessed Lua, how could they remove our method of accessing Lua?

The new OmnomIRC is supposed to connect to the IRC channel just like the old one. There is currently some kind of problem that prevents this from working, and Netham will probably fix it soon.

TI will probably continue to try to stop Ndless on the Nspire. ExtendeD has started making Ndless 3.0, and I'm not going to be surprised if TI releases yet another OS that does nothing except for blocking it...

Yeah I remember that. Anyway one idea I had for example would be if the Prizm supports X=, we could use 4 lines to form dungeon walls or something, although in some cases it might not be super practical, plus it would be slow.
There is x= but I need to check if you can draw y= and x= at the same time.
It's possible. I tried drawing one line at every edge of the screen... It worked, but the colors made it look all rainbow-y

I haven't encountered this, but I usually only send one file at once.

Casio Manager: No native file transfer possible, doesn't run at the original calc speed, some features disabled, not even a paid version available, so when the trial expire, you're banned for life from using the software altogether, apparently doesn't emulate all apps perfectly (example: Insight transparency demos)
What do you mean by native file transfer?
Drag-Dropping g3a files into the emu window is not possible and there is no Send g3a file option in the menus. z80man said it was possible to use our own files in the emu by loading them in the SD card folder or something on your computer prior launching the emu, but the fact is that the emulator itself lacks file transfer options documented and visible to the average user.
Go to Memory from the Main Menu, then press F3. Casio sneaked file transfer into the emulated calc instead of the emu.

Why do you dislike the GPL? Personally, I don't see any problem with it. Everything that can be done with proprietary can be done with the GPL as far as I know... Except from hiding. Well, because of its viral character and complexity. At least version 3 is WAY too restrictive. Personally, I prefer BSD style: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/bsdl-gpl/article.html
Yeah, the BSD license seems to be pretty nice. It allows the code to be included in programs that aren't open source, which can be both good and bad... I hope those who use it only use it for good. Now that I think about it, what's the worst thing that can happen? Someone sells a paid version of it, but everyone can just get the normal version for free if they want to?

Well, not really get rid of it, but it's not exactly like they're trying to promote it - it's hard to find.

That's probably the first time I've seen the word "proprietary" being used by someone when trying to be positive... Should "proprietary" mean something bad? For me, it is totally okay if a company decides to go the closed source way. I'm more scared of all this "GPL" code everywhere...

When looking at some videos at the Casio Prizm YouTube channel (yes, there is one!), I noticed this one. It's a presentation that shows what the Prizm is, but there's something that they mentioned that we didn't know... Around 7:30, they say that they're going to release an image converter tool soon. This is great news, since it means that we don't have to discover the details of the g3p/g3b formats like we did with g3a, but we don't know how soon "soon" is. Mu guess is that it will be during the summer, to make sure that it's available when school starts again in autumn.

PNG rendering isn't made for speed and optimization in the least. Most rendering algorithms like the Adam7 routine would be way too slow for a device with onoy a 29MHz speed. However, its quite fine on a 1GHz machine. But that's not what we're working with. And, my rendering routine also has to be fast, and common PNG formats and rendering scripts are much too large.
The PNG format I'm playing with will be perfect for the Prizm.
Ah, okay. And it's supposed to be for use inside programs only?
