Since the prizmosdecomp.exe attachment in Goplat's post seems to be dead, here's a reupload...

News / Re: Warning about OS 3.0.1 destroying calcs
« on: April 21, 2011, 03:26:43 am »
Some T3 teacher said (probably without reading/understanding anything) we were responsible for all this, as we were using unauthorised OSes and encouraging their use on TI-Bank...
That doesn't surprise me... Soon, even TI-CARES might start blaming us for their own glitches!

something is wierd about the way the pixels go up and down...wierd...try totally reseting your clac..RAM+ROM clear..if you want that is..1st try RAM clear but archive your items or ull lose them.. :) good luck sorry this is happening.. ;(
I've tried RAM clears a few times already... I'm not sure if ROM clear would help much, and it would take a while for me to send my programs back, so I probably won't do it.

FYI, app signing problems are usually not like this - either the app doesn't transfer, or it produces some error message or disappears.

Other Calculators / Re: Complete TI-Nspire Character Map

On 2.0, I dumped the entire character set (about 70,000 symbols) and found no Chinese symbols. I guess they must have not been included.
Chinese characters were added in 2.1.

I tend to avoid googles, because most of the time the water gets inside anyway.
You mean goggles, right? I don't think water will get inside Google. :P

Is there way the analog can move? Not sure if it can be done.
What do you mean by that?

When I run it, it displays the analog clock, but does it move while the program is running? When I tried V1.0 in my 84+ Keypad, I don't think it did. If you think it does, I'll try again.
The analog clock should change every minute in both 1.0 and 1.1.

News / Re: OS 3.0 breaks compatibility
« on: April 20, 2011, 09:00:37 am »
Wow... This reminds me of Nintendo a bit. They once released an update for the boot2 on the Wii, and that update was supposed to replace all custom versions of boot2 that had been installed. Some Wiis were bricked. Everyone thought that this was because they had installed homebrew, but that was incorrect! The update procedure was simply so glitchy that it could brick Wiis. But from what I've seen, Nspire brickings now are much more common than what happened then... TI is getting worse than they already were.

Here's version 1.1. I finished it a really long time ago, so I've forgotten what's new in this version... Probably just optimizations.

Ok, no official release yet, even though i'm done with it. i thought i would release a teaser beta 5. Have fun. Refer to Download thread or first post on this thread for more info

I downloaded beta 5, but the display is completely messed up in the game, so I can't play it... I'm using an 84+SE with good display driver. The game seems to work fine in Wabbitemu.

First off, ty everyone for the replies,
JosJuice...try hitting 3 in the menu and play around with the contrast slider. That seemed to happen to my firend too.,.the contrast was too high for him...sometimes too low. The default contrast for doodlejump is good for my calc which is a 84+SE, but newer ones somehow have lower contrast by default...so adjust the contrast up by hitting 3 and then right arrow...then when you see it's good...press 2nd and u should be fine. it saves so u wont have to adjust again and again :)
Is the contrast adjustment the same as the one that can be done using 2nd and up/down arrows in the TI-OS? I'm not sure if that would help... The display isn't too bright or dark - the graphics are placed in completely nonsensical locations.
wat?!?!? get me a screenshot...u said it worked in wabbit?
sorry this is happening...i really dont know why....are the sprites in the wrong positions!? thats wierd...!!!
This is what the title screen looks like:

What OS do you have JosJuice?
I'm using 2.43.

I don't need him to finish Doors, I need someone to make a shell, or is there an easy way to run Asm files?
The OS supports g3a files (add-ins) which are kinda like apps on the 84+. All current programs are in that format.

I put this on my calc recently. It's really nice to have so many games in so little space. But I'm too good at the Guitar Hero game, so I think I'll stay away from it :P
