Ok, no official release yet, even though i'm done with it. i thought i would release a teaser beta 5. Have fun. Refer to Download thread or first post on this thread for more info
I downloaded beta 5, but the display is completely messed up in the game, so I can't play it... I'm using an 84+SE with good display driver. The game seems to work fine in Wabbitemu.
First off, ty everyone for the replies, JosJuice...try hitting 3 in the menu and play around with the contrast slider. That seemed to happen to my firend too.,.the contrast was too high for him...sometimes too low. The default contrast for doodlejump is good for my calc which is a 84+SE, but newer ones somehow have lower contrast by default...so adjust the contrast up by hitting 3 and then right arrow...then when you see it's good...press 2nd and u should be fine. it saves so u wont have to adjust again and again
Is the contrast adjustment the same as the one that can be done using 2nd and up/down arrows in the TI-OS? I'm not sure if that would help... The display isn't too bright or dark - the graphics are placed in completely nonsensical locations.

You know what you should do? Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing
No. Just no.
That one would fit better on the Prizm... The speed gauge, HUD and other stuff has trouble fitting into a 96x64 screen. I made a mockup of it once.

I think this is the only version of Doors CS7 that suppots gCn, though: http://cemetech.net/programs/index.php?mode=file&path=/beta/dcs72b1.zip
Doors CS 7.1 supports a flawen implementation of CALCnet that is incompatible with pretty much everything. 7.1.1 and up offers CALCnet over the serial port, and the 7.2 beta and higher offers CALCnet over direct USB. All DCS versions that support CALCnet support globalCALCnet, except for 7.1.

You could try adding some kind of obstacle... Something that shoots at you, maybe?

* It does not work on basic TI-83. Why? Because of the 32Kb RAM?
Yes. * According to the readme, it does not suppor TI-Nspire. Does this mean it won't work with the Nspire 84+ keypad? If it doesn't work, I'd like to know why... The RAM & ROM are here... I thought only applications dealing with the USB port had problems....
It uses undocumented z80 commands that the emulator doesn't support. Also, it modifies flash directly, which isn't allowed by the emulator. Redownload TI-Boy, inside should be a file called tiboy.bin, which should remain in the same directory as the make and rabbitsign.
I get the same error too, but only when using drag and drop, and I'm sure the file is there...

Do you know about the VAT and how it is formatted?

While next hour ( in math ^^ ), I'll try to read DCS7 folder appvar . If you have the struct, you'll really help me ...
The folder appvar is just a backup of the folder structure. The real folder structure is in the VAT.

Works on the 84+ Keypad, then? Awesome.
No.
Only 83+SE, 84+ and 84+SE are supported. Additionally, 84+ doesn't support ROMs that are larger than 256 KB and 84+/84+SE calcs with 48 KB RAM can't play a few games that use a lot of RAM (but most games are supported).
I read 'new hardware models' and was very excited, but afterall it's just the RAM.
But you have gbc4nspire, don't you?
Yes I have, but it doesn't work well in Ndless 2.0, it works, but the getkeys are for Clickpad only.
There's a hacked version by Mrakoplaz that supports Touchpad. Have you tried it?

Hmm.. I wonder... does this mean that in a BASIC program, if I had a getkey command running in every loop, it would capture? I will have to try this when I have time.
Do you mean like:
While (TRUE) If GetKey ... End
Would it capture that?
I don't think that would be captureable... The Casio-BASIC GetKey is non-blocking, if I recall correctly.

When someone asked them about a SDK and said they managed to run assembly code or something, Casio asked them for info on how they did that.
They did? That's funny.

I'm not going to be surprised if TI blocks the ability to use Lua tns files that are partially unencrypted... It seems like they're trying to do everything to stop us, even if it involves disadvantages to the customers (such as not being able to downgrade).

I was talking about this with alberthrock and would like to know if the SDK is ready for C with GCC Compiler and everything setup
As far as I know: Everything isn't set up, but if you want to, you can gather the things that you need and put them together yourself.
