Yeah. Some people felt surprised so many people fell for it, but the thing is that it's TI that was involved there. With everything they did before, it was believable that they could do such thing to a certain extent at one point, even if less likely. Not everyone knows ASM and how to disassemble files, so not everyone will understand the stuff about RabbitSign, especially that the post got lost among many others. Also there were the people that played along too.
One thing that kinda revealed it for me was the Nspire CX ad. I can believe that TI inserts something like that, but I wouldn't believe that they removed the alpha menu hint in order to make room for it.

I see. I assume this would mostly apply to official add-ins, not the community ones, right (unless someone can make a bilingual utility)?
It applies to add-ins that translate the system into other languages, kinda like the language apps on the 83+/84+.

http://nttv.unt.edu/content/ti-nspireHmm, I wonder why they start an Nspire video with downloading the 83+ SDK... They clearly have no idea of what they're talking about. And why are the students browsing Facebook?

Depends on the calc. An 84+SE? I'd guess 3 mins or less. Maybe if you had slower bit sampling it'd be better,
I think it's around 80-90 seconds, or maybe even less. Lower quality would allow longer sounds, but it sounds pretty bad...

I'll be coding for the Prizm, too! Well, at least I'll try... I'm still not sure if I'll be able to find one.

Aside from the keyboard, are there any other input methods (like something analog) or extension ports (USB) planned?
I'm pretty sure it has a touch screen and supports USB devices such as a mouse! (But I don't think the Standard Version has all of that...)

I sent another mail - this time to the Swedish section of Casio, and got a reply. It was a bit more detailed than the previous reply I got. Swedish: Hej *!
English (translated): Hello *!
My name is * and I work with calculators at Casio Scandinavia.
I received your question about our new color graphing calculator, fx-CG20. We're going to start delivering it in small quantities at the end of this month and we're estimating that it will be widely available in time for school start this fall.
The price is about 1750 SEK including VAT but during school start the price may be lower since we usually have school start campaigns.
Please contact us if you have any more questions! 1750 SEK is about USD 275. I'm tired of Sweden and its late releases and high prices... And it's annoying that calc releases are always timed to fit with the school start! I want a Prizm now so that I can make programs for it for the people who buy it at school start Importing one from the USA costs about as much as buying one here in Sweden. Should I wait until the end of this month and try to get a fx-CG20, or order an fx-CG20 that will arrive in a few weeks? Ordering from the USA might be tricky, but finding one here might also be tricky...

When I checked Omnimaga on the morning of April 1, I immediately knew that it was an April Fools joke... But the more I started reading and thinking about it, the more convinced I became that it wasn't just April Fools - but in the end, I did know that it wasn't real. I think I would've believed it if it weren't for the frequent crashes and the fact that 2.56MP is on 3.0

Really. I had to get a new pillow out of the closet, it was so wet.
I was close to doing it, too...

Is the U in UberGraphX supposed to be pronounced like the English letter U, or is it supposed to be more like the Ü in über?

About the languages, anyone figured out what's the purpose of Language file deletion options in the System/reset menu? For me it didn't even seem to do anything.
There are two kinds of languages - pre-installed languages and add-in languages. Only add-in languages can be deleted. (Of course, I might be wrong... As you know, I don't have a Prizm)

A bit offtopic, but is it Japanese that is preinstalled on the Prizm?
I believe we've figured out that it's actually Chinese, but I'm not sure, and I can't remember when this was discovered.

Also game requires 12 GB hard drive space. If it would run on my older machine, it would take about 15% of the entire hard drive
Only 15%? If I installed it on mine, I'm sure it would be 85% or something like that
