Casio Calculators / Re: Low level hardware emulation« on: March 21, 2011, 12:55:41 pm »The slowdown is part of the OS since the BASIC language is part of the OS, but just like you said, it's possible to fix it without a new OS - but it's still the OS's fault that drawing is slow. When we blame the OS, we really mean the Basic language. It's definitely possible to do faster stuff without a whole new OS, as we saw on the TI-83+.It would probably take a very long time until it becomes possible to make a third-party OS.lol, KOS for Casio calcs. As in a new OS instead of the one that comes with the calc. What do you mean?Wow. So, CKOS or what? There is no way that took 15 minutes to render. There's just... What the heck. Okay, so is this the OS or hardwares' fault? That's actually on the calc, right? Could you show a video of that. Maybe put a camera over it, and host a livestream or something? *shrugs*It's the OS, no doubt about it. Drawing something like this in asm is probably about as fast as on an 8x calc. also: I like quote pyramids. 828

Ooh, I didn't think of that! I noticed it was down, but I didn't realize that it might be linked with a large update...

TI Z80 / Re: [PROJECT] SimpleCS« on: March 20, 2011, 10:06:23 am »Well, I'm browsing the FRENCH website, then I click on "Solliciter un accessoire". The link goes on EPSSTORE (the US one).Well, that's silly... I thought TI wouldn't do something like that, but still, it doesn't really surprise me. 835
TI Z80 / Re: [PROJECT] SimpleCS« on: March 20, 2011, 09:39:28 am »I've been looking for the free keypad in France... I just needed to register (me in a first time) and then my calc, to see a page where I can order the free TI-84 keypad... The main problem is that I need an American address (or Canadian). In which we can conclude that TI takes their customers for granted, as well as treating them as stupid people. Are you browsing the US/Canada site? There are localized sites available on... Wait lol, I can't get the url. Their website is down. Anyway, there are localized versions of the website. They usually have less content. TI assumes that you're using the France website if you're in France, so try using that website. (Of course, there's a large possibility that they removed the 84+ keypad stuff from the localized version...) 836

TI-Boy SE - Game Boy Emulator For TI-83+SE/84 / Re: TI-Boy SE« on: March 19, 2011, 07:39:10 am »It has already been released, he's working on a new version that works on 84+ Keypads and is better. No, I don't think it's going to work on the Nspire, but it'll work on 84+(SE) calcs that don't have the extra RAM. 839
nDoom / Re: How to setup and install nDoom« on: March 19, 2011, 07:25:59 am »Also, can an admin move this to News if you agree that it is OK?I think it fits better here in the nDoom section, because those who are new and want to play nDoom are probably going to look in the nDoom section. 840
Casio Calculators / Re: Casio Prizm documentation« on: March 19, 2011, 04:46:28 am »Need to go find some because I deleted all of them from my calc. There are a few in the 1.02 OS installer. You can find the eActivity files in Temp. I'm not sure if Casio published any on their website... |
