Casio Calculators / Re: Casio Prizm documentation
« on: March 19, 2011, 04:24:15 am »
eActivity is a file format for the Prizm. Casio thinks of it as an education tool, but I see it as a potential pdf like viewer. It can hold customizable text, pictures, and a few gui elements. Maybe I will make an editor some time later.
Okay. In what way are add-ins and eActivities related? Can a "link" to an add-in be displayed in an eActivity, with the monochrome icon being displayed?

Nah we don't delete threads, we just keep them in the forums so anybody who wants to read it can have access to it :)
A lock, maybe?

Interesting. What does that mean, and how do eActivities work? I don't have a Prizm yet, so I'm clueless about some of the math/education related stuff.

TI-Boy SE - Game Boy Emulator For TI-83+SE/84 / Re: TI-Boy SE

Nice! So after unknown time we can also play on poor Ram calcs?
Yes (except for certain games that use extra ram in the cartridge, such as Pokemon :( )
But those will still work on calcs with all of the RAM, right?

TI-Boy SE - Game Boy Emulator For TI-83+SE/84 / Re: TI-Boy SE

Currently I am trying to implement link cable emulation.
gCn compatibility plox? :P
Trading Pokémon over the internet using games that were made ten years before doing so was possible would be awesome... But of course, it might be very hard to implement, especially since Apps can't be used with the DCS libraries AFAIK.

I would have on request. A replacement/alternative for NoteFolio, with PC support. NoteFolio is pretty good but I would like to see smoother scrolling and a smaller font, maybe zoom levels? .txt support would be nice too and imagine what you could do if you could make like these "chapters" so that if you open the file you can jump to one chapter or another, that would be truly great. It is not even that impossible....
To an extent, that is Document DE 7 for Doors CS. That program could use some improvement as well, but it appears that the files that Document creates are the same format as the ones Notefolio creates.
I thought Doc DE files and NoteFolio files are completely incompatible...

Anyway, there's a txt to Doc DE converter (and Doc DE to txt too).

If you want entry, you can perform a /knock #omnimaga.  However, knock spamming is prohibited and will result in retribution at the discretion of the ops in the channel.
I tried using /knock, but Pidgin didn't recognize that command. Is there another way to do it?

Yeah true. However, such new editor should have the exact same controls as the current one, if possible, so people who are used to the old one won't take too long to get used to it. We should have a mode where we can paste tokens and another with intellisense. (I liked Intellisense when I used Visual Basic 6.0)
You could probably dissassemble the code from either the TI-OS one or the DCS one and use it for your own purposes.
There isn't an editor in DCS. DCS uses the OS editor, so the OS editor is probably the only one that can be used.

Anime and Manga / Re: Pokemon Adventures

I started reading the manga a while ago, but I stopped in the early GS chapters. It's much better than the anime in my opinion.

I know there's one out there that's free and was made for linux but was ported to PC, but I found it so complex it removed it from my machine pretty quickly.  forgot the name, sorry.
Linux Multimedia Studio (LMMS)?

This looks interesting.  But what if you wanted to load a word into memory?
Then you have to use MOV.W. It doesn't have any immediate data - a relative address is stored in the instruction, and the value at that address is read as a word. I'm sure z80man is going to include it soon.

The touchpad action looks nice! I can't compare the video quality, because YouTube blocked the video :P

2.56 for the 84+(SE) doesn't exist. 2.56 is Nspire-only, and 2.55 is identical to 2.56 but it's compatible with 84+(SE) only.
