1. How many calculators did Brandon Wilson brick? What was he doing that caused this? And over what time period did this occur? (If BrandonW answers here, we are good. If someone else answers, I will need a link to where he says this.) I think there's only one calc he bricked that he couldn't restore, but it was intentional. I don't know when he said it, and I'm not sure if I remember it correctly.

Wow! Now we should be able to port games to color.
Well... Programming is still hard. I don't think we have discovered any display routines in the OS other than basic text stuff, and modifying the add-ins to match the checksums isn't exactly easy either.

EDIT: Is this what the 42 is all about: The glyph, or character, corresponding to the number 42 in the ASCII character set, is *, the asterisk, commonly known as the wildcard character.
No, it's not about that. 42 is (I believe) from a book where 42 was described as the answer to life and everything. I don't remember the details. 1337 might be a bit tricky to explain... Basically, some people replace letters with numbers when they write, and the word "elite" becomes 3133. 1337 comes from "leet", which means pretty much the same thing as "elite".

We know they're trying to hire people to harden their OS.
When was this discovered? I haven't heard about it.

I found Omnimaga on Wikipedia - it was listed as a reference in the 84+ series article (the thread about missing RAM pages).

what exactly is the problem with no 84+ support? the c and asm hacks on the nspire are far superior to the programming languages on the 84+...
There are incredibly many programs and games written for the 84+ already. We can't just port all of them to Ndless, so we have to emulate them...

This is bad, the OS will have ti.84+ files but we can't use them, waste of space.
Well, we can't confirm that from that e-mail, but I would say that would be the logical guess (unless the CX and regular Nspire have different OS files...).
It's likely that the OS files are different... The Nspire and Nspire CAS OSes are different - the CAS OS doesn't include the 84+ emulator.

Hmm... I don't know a lot about it, but I think that would likely happen when the programmer doesn't replace 0x0EBC in the header.

Epic, I'm seeing someone else draw while I'm drawing And we both agree that fx-CG20 > fx-CG10. Both of them are better than the Nspire, of course

Would it be possible with USB mass storage drives, too? If those are supported, then SD cards will also be supported, since USB SD card readers are quite common.

OS 3.0 isn't released yet (AFAIK)... I wouldn't recommend updating until we know more about it.

hi I want to use my clac to play littel games like tetris or bomberman...so i checked the internet for some info how to use my clac as a gameboy...i know that i need an emulator like gbc4nspire and also ndless is needed for playing games on my clac.... but, i want to use my ti nspiere(with touchpad) also for the normal maths lessons... so i want to know: can I run ndless 2.0 and gbc4nspire on my calc without losing the normal calculator funktions?...or is ther ,if i have installed ndless 2.0, no way for using my calc in school? and one more question: can ndless 2.0 make permanent hardwear-damage on my clac?
thanks for answers P.S. sry if my english is bad...i'm just learning
You can continue using your calculator as normal when Ndless and gbc4nspire are installed (but you can't do math and play Game Boy at the same time, obviously ). It shouldn't damage your calculator at all. The worst thing that might happen is that you have to re-send the OS to your calculator, and I don't think that happens often. EDIT: ninja'd again... It's one of the things I'm good at

I liek the Tenor sax players personally but I am a little biased (I play a tenor).
Wow. lots of us play instruments. Ztrumpet plays the trumpet(duh), I play the euphonium, you play the tenor sax, and an uncountable number create music using software(even though that doesn't really qualify as an instrument )
I play my calc The last time I plugged it into a pair of speakers and played a single tone... Well, you probably don't want to know how horrible it sounded.

Another strange thing that I noticed with Google Translate is that it will translate the Swedish word "är" (which means "is", "are" or "am") to "Känner jag mig sminkad" when translating from any language to Swedish. "Känner jag mig sminkad" means something along the lines of "Do I feel like I have makeup"

They aren't really animated. It's javascript changing the image source between multiple files.
No, javascript needs to be inserted into a website - I don't think it works in an image. This image isn't actually JPEG, it's just a GIF named using the .jpg extension.
