News / Re: TI-Boy SE Beta pre-release
« on: April 21, 2011, 03:11:23 pm »
Thanks, and how to put games on my TI-84+ with TI-Connect ?
If you're having problems, the TI Calculator Programming And Support section is the place to go. Generally speaking, you install TI-Connect first, then plug in your calculator and it'll install the drivers. After that, it should be a simple matter of right-clicking the file, selecting "Send To TI Device...," and clicking the Send To Device button on the window that pops up. Best of luck!

Maybe have the glow come on only when you're within the range? Just spouting ideas here.

Sorry for no music progress. My VSTs are still broken.

Solved. Assembling the name string from the VAT entry turned out to be much easier than I thought.

Now I've got a new issue: I know that the standard fix for the executable code limit is "put all your data at the end of the program," but if I do that I can't get to it: that is to say, I have something like this:

Code: [Select]
:[HEXDATA]->Pic1
:[MOREHEXDATA
:[EVENMOREHEXDATA

at the start of my program, and if I move it to the bottom Axe throws errors and won't let me compile (presumably because the pointer never gets initialized). What should I be doing instead?

Spread some good music, and maybe discover some too!

DUBSTEP IS FUN.

Hmm. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll look into that. Legitimate assembly is not my strong point, though ;)

Also you may want to only allow reading levels from archive, since I don't think many people would actually prefer having them in RAM anyway.
True, true...Thanks. I totally forgot about The Psyche. Strange, considering it's been on my calc for about two months now. Thanks a lot.

General Calculator Help / Re: Pokemon controls for TI-Nspire GBC Emu

As the title says, I'm having trouble registering an item as the select button for the GBC Emu for the TI-Nspire.
Can someone care to help?
I'm fairly sure you can't SELECT-register in the GBC games. I know for a fact you can't in Red/Blue/Yellow.

Welcome to Omnimaga!

x.x it fixed itself
Don't worry, it will come back :) I'd install the update if I were you.

I have a weird bug, if I install any font all characters are shifted 1 row to the left so I see all characters "killed"
This has been brought up already, and while I haven't gotten the chance to test, I think it's been fixed too. Scroll up for thepenguin77's post.

I'm flashing on black hair and green eyes. Dunno why. Maybe I'll take a crack at a drawing later today.

Broadly speaking, you can almost always fix missing DLL errors by googling the DLL and putting it in the same folder as the .exe. Hope this helps.

ED: Also, Finale noted the one-pixel-to-the-left problem:
Hmm, the font set didn't work on Wabbit :/ it seems to be shifted left a pixel.... I will try it again to see if I screwed up anything
EDIT: Uploaded screenie...
I had an issue like this in school today. After much scrambling and trying things, the workaround I've found for now is to create a new font set, set it and turn it on, exit zStart, delete the font set, open zStart again, go to the font menu and set your original font set. It's kinda a pain to do, and I still haven't figured out if anything in particular seems to trigger it...
ED2: I'm having the same font problem, and Finale's workaround isn't working for me. Grr...

* Freyaday drools.
Man, none of the computers here at school have TI-Connect! I have to wait 'till I get home!
I have the opposite problem. Let's see if I can get a slot in the Mac Lab... Seriously, this is freaking amazing. Nice work.

Spoiler For offtopic:
Finale, when do you unlock custom titles like your "ridiculously awesome?"
