Count me in! If I can get there by train easily I am willing to travel down to the given location.
What will the meeting be like? Just hanging out together and sharing creations or also some activities such as gaming? We 'd need a room filled with televisions and game consoles for that or a bunch of laptops for that. Who is going to provide all that? Does anyone even know how to set up an event like this?

SNES games I own I find hard to 100%: Donkey kong country: Level memorization and fast reflexes are required to make it trough the levels. In world 3 I cannot get past stage 3-1. I did it once, but I couldn't save... Last action hero: Stage 1 is unbeatable especially if you try really hard. I don't even want to play this game. Super metroid: Not because it's a hard game, but some secrets remain well hidden. Super mario world: Because of that castle with the moving platform snake on which you have to stand for the entire stage. Super R-type: I finally got to stage 3 only to get my ass handed to me. Street fighter II: On normal mode ofc. Some of the non-playable fighters just kick my ass with cheaty special moves.

Moving it from the breadboard to a PCB for more reliability and higher cpu speeds. I also reworked the I/O expansion a bit. I replaced the second atmega by two 8 bit latches so I can have up to 16 bits of address space. This is unidirectional, so the atmega will be able to put an address on the address bus, but it cannot read an address which is not a problem since the atmega handles all I/O operations anyways.
Specs for now: -SRAM 16K (two piggybacked 8k ram chips) -EEPROM 8K -Z80 @2MHz -Shiny led indicators for various cpu flags. -Atmega for serial communication via usb and programming the eeprom.

The music on pal nes is 25% slower and low pitched. The gameplay is also sluggish.

It's supposed to, but most timing signals comes from the ppu I think which outputs 50Hz pal composite. I think it's pretty much the same, but I have not hooked up the sound yet. Yep.

Cool! Can I also draw plastic parts for my projects with that or is it too weak?
