New stuff:

1727
I used to play donkey kong country over at a friends house. That was pretty much the ony game we (read he) played (, since I did not get to play very often :P)

I knew only one person who owned a SNES. He had a lot of games. Probably all second hand because the SNES was already obsolete in 2002 :P
Never owned any console at all. I grew up with fake mario games on my pc :( And those sucked.

And even if it's illegal: They will NOT sue a calculator programmer. They know you are poor compared to companies. If they sue you I will personally write them a very angry letter.

My brainfuck interpreters all have a break function. When you have an infinite loop you simply press a key and you break from the program.

Lol some of those games in there are cheaper than they resell for these days :P Example: link to the past

Other Calculators / Re: People react to your calculator...

I came to school with an xbox mic plugged into my claculator. Everyone though I had serie or something XD
Then I told them I was making music for a game and they were still mind blown...

When I connected earphones to a calc and played some games with sound, some people came standing around me and they first thought I just pretended it could do sound. Then I let them listen to it themselves and then they walked away with blown minds.

Also when I was playing portal on my calc after an exam, some guys from my class asked me: "WTF is that portal?!"
Did that too in highschool. I was writing my chiptune tracker at the time.

Good luck with your calculator project! Is this thing programmable on-calc?

I will not use a PIC18F. Porting the source I already got is going to be a pain. I might make more watches in the future with different programming languages. Perhaps ones with a numeric keypad.

I love it so far :)

Is it any comfortable to wear, though? :P
It actually is quite comfortable to wear right now. This thing doesn't weigh a lot without the board and the batteries in it. The artificial leather strap is not too tight and feels soft to the skin.

The brain**** interpreter is cool, but not actually useful ;) Maybe make some kind of limited BASIC that is tokenized, so you can just select it from a list?
I got a limited amount of program space. I am using 12 out of 30k of max program size at the moment. This includes the clock, interpreter, menu, LCD routines and some other stuff.
A basic will require a lot of strings which increases the program size. I might add it eventually.

Work in progress. In which video game franchise is this dragon featured?

TI-Nspire / Re: Breakout board for the TI nSpire

Farnell will probably have something that will fit. Head over to farnell.com and search for connectors. Enter some specs of the connector.

A connector will cost you about $2 or less. Make it optional for the user to intstall this for themselves. Universal prints are the way to go.
