So that means that casio doesn't support the community, but it also doesn't lock down everything? Yes I'm gonna buy a casio calc, sir.

It'd be great if they packed some simple games with the calculators along with the source. Then people realize that games can be made for them. The first LEGO mindstorms model was designed for educational purposes. LEGO saw that people were hacking their products, so they made a newer model with more powerful features.

I covered the intro of "All trough the night"
This is what it sounds like:

The instruments are a bit more subtle. They have some reverb and delay in them, but not too much. Also: Not everything sounds like a sawtooth wave. I used 3x osc al lot and the "popcorn" preset from image-line's sytrus vst. The drums are samples and fruity kick.

Aww these could have been great (they are, but not as great as they could have been) Too much reverb and delay in the synths. Tweak the synths some more and don't use presets too often.

Part of the drums is generated by the computer since the drums on my synth are pcm and they sound do not that great. It's a cheap FM synth with late 80's drum set :P

Girl at School(With a TI-83+): I want to make a program with my name as the title. How do I make a new program?
Me: *grabs calculator and makes program(takes less than 5 seconds)* *Hands calculator back*
Girl: Wow! That was fast! Thanks!

Not trying to make fun, but really?
It's also funny how most people I know that have a graphing calc have a program with as name their own name, with just some random stuff typed in it. They think that when it asks for a name, you have to fill in your own name instaed of the name you want to give to your program.
Even funnyer is that they often don't even know they made a program, and sometimes they don't even know the calc can run programs.
To them it's an organizer/phone book/calculator.

I'm analizing the source code now. Determining how everything works again :P I kept documentation during the process, so I guess I can continue coding tomorrow.

The drums are a tad too loud, but you get the idea.

Well I kinda divided the TI-nterface into smaller chunks. I'm not focussing on one device, but I'm designing/making all sorts of pheripals which interface with the TI calculators. For example: A Digital to analog converter and a gamepad. All of these things share the same thing: They can be interfaced with the TI calculator via the I/O port.

There are 3 people who think I should focus on Herocore now, so I guess that's gonna be my main project. I just wanna finish it and enjoy it's awesomeness :)

How about multiplexing it with an ADC as well?  I'm not really sure if you want to do that, but it would be nice to have a standardized analog I/O circuit to play with: microphones, light sensors, etc.
That's possible, but more complex than a separate DAC and ADC. I don't think the TI84+ is capable of recording sound and playing it back. The playback is possible, but the recording and processing is pretty much impossible without proper I/O. You could also just hook your calc up to an arduino since it features pwm and ADC.
