You have to start your brain before you engage your mouth/fingers. As Dan said, it clearly states different models, the TI-NSpire and the TI-NSpire CAS. The CAS version has a CAS but no 84+ support, while the non-CAS version trades the CAS for an 84+ keyboard and support.

QuoteBegin-Insanity+15 Mar, 2007, 22:24--> QUOTE (Insanity @ 15 Mar, 2007, 22:24) | ...Oh, and CruncyOS can run compressed games, and you can also pack games into CruncyOS itself to save lots of space on your calc, keep your program menu in TIOS clean, and makes it a breeze to transfer games to another calc 'cause you'd only have to transfer the CruncyOS App. |
Yeah, but does anybody actually take advantage of that?

Doors CS has crashed in the past, but you will have noticed it has been and is still in a Beta phase. Smaller size is impossible without removing all of the functionality that makes DCS unique. The navigation thing is an idea, though. For those who would like to try 6.0 Release Candidate 2.1: http://www.cemetech.net/news.php?298

Further progress has been made on Doors CS. I will be releasing 6.0 Release Candidate 2.1 this evening; I'll edit or post when it's out. As far as I can tell, it should be almost rock-solidly stable.

Fourteen months after SourceCoder was released on Cemetech and featured on ticalc.org, I have finally gotten around to completing SourceCoder 2.0. The original worked with TI-83 and TI-83+ programs and images; 2.0 can also understand strings, lists, matrices, groups, and more. The system has been partially rebuilt to allow easy adding of new token sets such as that of the TI-86 and TI-89. SourceCoder 2.0 can:

So needless to say, I didn't get the new pix up. Among other things though, I'm modding up a mini PS/2 mouse to match the calculator, and I decided to redo the CSA slightly to make it brighter. Edit: Sunday, January 7, 2007I finished up some various things this evening, rewired a new switch for the CSA mod into the battery compartment, then completed the tedious process of reassembling the calculator. I managed to get keys from a spare calculator that were actually smaller than the keys from the one I was using, those they do stick or jam on the now slightly-narrowed key aperture walls. Pix below. Monday, January 8, 2007This morning I tested the PS/2 port to ensure it was still functioning properly; both keyboards and mice seemed to work fine. I found an old IBM mini PS/2 mouse lying around, sanded it down, and gave it two coats of my dark red glossy paint. Next, I masked off the first of the two silver stripes and painted it. The second stripe shall be added tomorrow. Pix: The second silver stripe on the slide case: The masked-off minimouse: Three views of the completed front, although key labels are still absent: For the key lables, I'm considering getting a red and a silver pen and writing in silver on red areas and red on silver areas. I'm also strongly considering varnishing the whole shebang - any suggestions on varnish?

The camera I'm using is a horrid webcam. Anyway, pix in an hour or two! I got it all reassembled.
