Assuming you have nlaunch.tns and the TNOC'd phoenix.tns in your nlaunch folder, the next step is to go to the maintenance menu. To do this, turn your calc off and hold down Doc, Enter, and EE simultaneously. While holding these down, use a pencil to press the reset button on the back. Press 2 to delete the operating system so that you can send nlaunch.tcc or nlaunch.tco.

Put the phoenix.tns file into the nlaunch folder. Nothing should come up after you send that file. What you did so far is fine if you ran TNOC on the tcc file to remove the Boot2, renamed it to phoenix.tns, and the nlaunch folder is directly in My Documents. Then download nlaunch.tns and place it into the same nlaunch folder on your calc.

No, do this and tell me what the filename shows as. Clear the checkbox, I mean.

Yes, the OS file, you don't need to remove examples, but you can if you want. I don't use Windows, so I don't know how, but try this, then rename the OS file to phoenix.tns. You can use TiLP for linking, it won't try to automatically upgrade your calc. (Use the Windows installer for tilp)

You only need to remove the Boot2. Of course, removing the example files won't cause any problems, so you can remove those too if you want to save space. For step 1, you probably already have boot2 3.1.0.16, you can make sure by going to Settings->Status->About (from the home screen) Next, rename TI-NspireCXCAS-3.1.0.392.tcc to phoenix.tns You may need to show file extensions if you use Windows, because you must remove the tcc extension. Then create a directory in My Documents called nlaunch and transfer phoenix.tns there, along with nlaunch.tnsWhen following the directions, make sure you're in the CX section, the first set of steps is for Classic Nspires.

Just use the TiLP or the Student Software, and send all the files to your computer.
EDIT: I have to go now, sorry

Step 0: Backup the documents from your nspire Step 1: Make sure you have 3.1.0.16 boot2, but you have OS 3.1.0.392, so you already have it Step 2: Get a compatible OS. This means download the OS file onto your computer

Try nLaunchy, and follow the directions under "CX installation" All the files are located in the CX directory. BTW, instead of double-posting, you can use the Modify button located on each of your posts

What exactly have you done, and what do you not understand? You might want to use nLaunchy, a fork of nLaunch.

I just checked the svn, and the TI_NN* syscalls were added in r878.

Since SDL 2.0 is now out, what benefits would it offer to the Nspire once you port it?

If it works in Linux, that's fine, but I'll probably just use TNS2XML.

This looks interesting. I'll see if I can add some features (once I install the latest Ndless SDK)
