Other Calculators / Re: Attempts to dump the prototype NSpire CM OS
« on: June 06, 2013, 07:57:26 pm »
Yes I'm using a CX-C CAS from my brother. The CM prototype doesn't have a CAS.
TI-LINK and the calculator itself all declare it as a 'CX-C CAS', however I do install a CM-C OS! And the latest version of ndless doesn't work :(
Doesn't like  on a normal NSpire, ndless won't be installed automatically after nLaunch boot the OS. And when I send the ndless_installer.tcc to my nspire, it reboots. However never can I send the *.tmc file since TI-LINK detect it as a CX-C CAS.
Dumb idea : swap the file extensions ?

Try to put globals (faces, order, vpf) as static.
Also, avoid as possible globals.

Edit : wait, no, your data is wrong, you only have 6 points and face indexes are 0->7 (8 points)

The initial charge is really long : ~10h through USB, ~6h using a mural charger.
Open up the diags, go to the battery check (where you saw "100%") dans pull out the cable, push it in back, then wait.
The voltage should raise during the 2 first hours.
If this doesn't work, then the only solution is to buy another battery or, if you can, return it to Texas Instruments.

TI-Nspire / Re: kArmTI - TI-Nspire emulator with skin

It stays longer than 30-40 sec, and nothing is in the cmd.
It has to have something in the command line of kArmTI.
By command line I do not mean the windows command line, but the one you have when pressing F10.

Did you try it again? You can't do anything wrong with boot1 and boot2.

I did and it just got stuck and did nothing when I pressed i or enter. :/
What do you mean by "stuck" ?
Because first install is long, like 30~40 seconds. Open up the terminal and se what it says.

You need either to use lcd_ingray or lcd_incolor according to is_cx :

Is there anywhere that I can download the CX boot1cx.raw file?
No. Dump it with Polydumper.

Am I the only one here that think this project needs far better graphics ?
No offense, but it can be really simple to add little bevel effects or other stuff to make it different from simple rectangles ..
Same remark for the "You win" message.

I cannot wait to dl it
Euhhh.. you know it is already available for download, right ?

Lua does not care about the document settings in 3.1. Can you please paste the whole buggy lua code?
Every single Lua script using numbers, it seems.
At first I thought it was a coincidence - or bad installed OS, but he is not alone : https://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=11855

Isn't the normal sprite routine already clipped?
Yeah, it was one of its features :

I found out what might be causing all of these:
Not "all of these" but only the bug you seem to have.
The bug in nClock was entirely due to a mistake in my code where as I thought it was due to a float approximation.

On the other hand, you should post in the nLaunch topic your bug, it seems you're not only the one to experiment that.

Yep, you fixed it. Now the issue is that it says that today (21 May 2013) is a Monday (It's Tuesday).
Fu**, I actually thought today was Monday >_>
I made a really quick fix (day + 1 :D) but have no idea if it has an influence on the rest of the code :

"Is Tues -1, Jan 1970 correct?" (Whereas the actual time was set to 1 Jan, 1970).
I love you.
In fact it wasn't due to float approximation but a stupid mistake ...
