News / Re: A new graphical SDK for Ndless
« on: September 05, 2012, 02:58:02 pm »
I didn't see anything mentioning it in the readme ???

No no no, I ment read 10 times the readme in order to manage to run nspire_emu inside the SDK. Remerber that the nspire_emu inside the SDK handle dil transfert directly from the SDK.

10 times is the number of tries I had to read the readme before nspire_emu actually worked :D

Basically read 10 times the readme file.
And as already said, kArmTI is not linked to the lastest version of nspire_emu that includes GDB support because kArmTI is a fork of nspire_emu, not mergeable since not opensource and IIRC does not run under Mac or Linux ?

Did you meant fullscreen as the glitch I've discovered and used in NyanCat ?

How do you do that? It seems interesting to me :)

in 3.1, the bug was active only the first frame of focus. So you were not able to redraw on it.

In 3.2, setFocus forces the glitch to appear when you want.

I noticed there is a receiveFileFromNode.
So, if you can set up nRemote to receive certain events, you can transfer files from the calculator.

The problem is that we do not know how to receive events from the calculator ! :D (the simplest way I mean, without rewriting the code)

If so, it is not a bug to report to TI since it is not supported officially by TI.

If not, I'm afraid I do not have understood your story =(

hm I get 404 not found when I try to download it

Owww, thanks.
Sadly, Adriweb is in the plane for 14hours or so and I don't have the latest version.
We'll have to wait until his macbook will land (or crash muhahahhahaha).

We changed the link to the 1.4.

I'm wondering if there's a tutorial for nspire c programming?
All resources made for nspire C programming are on hackspire.
There is also a tutorial for non-Windows users in order to setup the environnement and make a hello world program, but I guess it is getting a bit old now (it still work tho)

edit : wait, Extended has updated the page for Linux-users (since they can't use the sdk)

Edit: also bump for this <_<
So for it working the other way..might it be possible to get it to control some on-computer things (read: nspire_emu)? :D
We tried and took a look. It is way more difficult since the function does not exist in every Nspire family software, only in the Navigator one.
The only way we can implement that, is first to rewrite the receive method with the good protocol (Computer request, Calc answers a result size and sends the results of the polling, everything with a timer) and also filter the events sent from the computer to the calc since it does interfere. On the other hand we can put a switch to change mode (sending/receiving).

In any case, the other way is not possible ATM

Add mine! ObsydianMC.tk:25583
Took a look and had to make my mind with the strange permission system.
For example, I went to a random region and in the entrance of what looked like a Castle with a sandgate, I came accidently through it, I was not able to break the block that was in my head because of the permissions, suffocating and dying... losing the startup item (good idea tho)

(I had said that if I thought it was fake, it would because it seems that the cable you connect to it in the video serves as a link to a computer where answers are typed

Look closer, we took care to remove the cable after we finished the transfer...
But yeah ...

This one and this one let you change the string. But for the first one you only have the source and for the second one you don't have the source :P

I can't see where you can't see the sources... It is just the post you linked ;)
There were nothing complicated in my version.

+1!!! for both of you geniuses
This looks absolutely insane.
I hope you didn't put anything that would make it just crash your calc completely!
Arf, indeed. One time on my 3.1 ndlessed CX it crashed after I said "you buggy bot !". Runs fine under 3.2, dunno why ..
