I've seen many projects that share the *.tns file.
But, one rule is "do not share the sources". Lua sources are readable in tns files : just launch TI Nspire Computer software, open the tns file, copy the widget, dump the clipboard ... the sources are here ... Since it is a general case, I don't say "HE DID THAT", just wanted to know what it is going to happen to them. Edit : well ... I'm sure I'm wrong and the projects in Lua that I've seen don't participate to the contest ... I just hope for them. 678

What OS do you have ?
Lua2TI doesn't work with 3.0.2 EDIT : err .. either this lua program won't run or you didn't copy/paste the entire file. Copyright TI ? wtf ? initConstants() is not defined stop is not defined You didn't initialize the picture (you only pasted the string) 679

I know it's shift+p in 2.49.BTW: rendering in blender is really slow, so for just seeing if it looks good, you can use the previev renderer (shift+p) which is faster than a normal render. No no, it has gone. Blender 2.59 came out today, the Blender 2.6x branch begins =) 683

Dude, for a first Blender use, it is realy really great. I mean, the most of startup project on Blender contains the default grey background, whereas here, you took the time to add an environment map, a controlled reflective effect, many colors...
I'm sure you're going to do wonderful things later if you continue doing like this =) I've used Blender during 4 years and I can remember its crappy interface under version 2.4x. The new 2.5x one is really great. I don't know (and hope !) if it helps beginners to understand the power of Blender. Keep up the good work =) 687

I changed some default display configuration to make it easier to see on the non-CX models with a black&Wite theme :

But yeah, if DJ_O has a CX to test, I think he's gonna play all the night. I'm sorry, you will had to play the music with your PC Oh, let me think ... I can play sound in Lua with jim's method \^/ 689

Here is the video demo !
For the "outline text" or "the glitch", I said I used a bug in the TI-Nspire Lua API, that means it will be solved in the next updates of the Lua framework. The bug is detailed here : http://ti.bank.free.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=7271 As you can see, it hasn't got any advantage since it doesn't refresh all the time !! So there is no "outline text", everithing is under the 28px header. I only redraw the entire screen in black blue to make an impression of freedom =) I noticed you used the "toast" and not the "pop-tart" version of Nyan, though. The pop-art version is too small to be drawn directly, and too big to be scaled at the TI-Nspire size =( 690

It can run on the Ti-Nspire Computer Software, but it isn't really as cool as on the CX, because the timer is so fast that you miss everything =( (I can't make difference between the computer software in calc mode which is the default mode and the calculator itself, in Lua ...)
I'm compiling a video demo =) |
