argh. I am having trouble getting Finale Allegro to play back violin harmonics correctly. Does anyone know how to do this?

Well..... I plan on making it more orchestral, because that's what I know how to use the best. I am going to try to experiment with violin harmonics right now. I'm not even sure if it will end up playable by real instruments. As for access over the break....we will see.

Alright, so here is my to-do list:
-inspiring battle music (brass?) -hero theme, 2 versions, 1 dark and 1 happier -regular boss theme (maybe use some of the idea that I had before) -daemon theme, big deep, and powerful -boss theme, screeching, nail-biting violin harmonics (this one's going to be fun to write)
And I am now officially on xmas break, so...

Yeah, I've been gone awhile. So I was thinking big booming dark music for the daemon, and then kind of nail-biting violin harmonics for the boss? Does that give the kind of style you want?

26: There was an orchestra playing Beethoven's 9th Symphony in a concert hall in the middle of town. The bass players had a long rest, and decided to pop out the back door and head to the nearest bar for some drinks. Before leaving, however, the bassists made sure to tie a string to the conductor's music so they knew when he would turn the page. After the bass players got back drunk, the conductor saw them and immediately realized what was happening. It was the bottom of the 9th, the score was tied, and the bases were loaded.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back. Everything sounds good, but I have a question: what are the personalities of the daemon and the boss? Are they strong and big, or sneaky and conniving?

So how many different pieces do you want? If I use the idea I already have for a boss fight... Do you want one for normal battles, then one for each boss? And will you need other sounds for out of battle gameplay?

I have to ask: when do you want the music by? I don't need an exact date, but some like in one week, one month, a few months, sometime before December 2012, etc. would be helpful.

If I find time, I'll see what I can come up with, but I am working on another music project right now (as well as my personal compositions).

Thanks. I'm not used to writing like this. The instruments are cello and timpani, btw. That idea is not finished, but I'll keep it if you like it. So, more inspiring? Then brass instruments are probably in order.

All right, here is an unfinished first few ideas, just to see if they're the kind of thing you're looking for.
