Yeah, that too.  But other than those, Java >> TI-BASIC

So, in one aspect, TI-BASIC > Java?

As long as people keep the number of eggs reasonable it shouldn't be a problem.  Or maybe we could upload the images to {AP} Image Uploader.

You don't need to use Menu(.  Make your own menus, that don't need gotos

EDIT: Ninja'd

Yeah, it is.  It makes the images in your sig load slow too.

But it's entirely possible to have the shop on the homescreen, and not difficult, so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be on the homescreen.  If the game is on the homescreen, anyway, then it's not going to have superb graphics.

I tried to optimize a java program using Boolean logic, but apparently you can't type-cast a Bool to a byte, and you can't multiply a Bool by a number.

My teacher actually gives us some freedom, as long as we get the requirements done.  We had to do a ton of paperwork for C++, but not so much in java.

sure, but NONE of the gameplay can involve it.  Shops is an exception too ;)

Or you just get in the practice of writing without them.  Using loops isn't all that difficult.

I think so.  I'm not sure shops should be an exception, though.  Makes too much of the gameplay on the graphscreen.  I'm not running the competition, though.

The way I decided to do it, was have no more than 3 eggs, 3-4 hatchlings and 3-5 dragons in your sig.  You don't have to remove the dragons, because then they get no clicks.  They need clicks.
Why?  I thought they didn't...
