Thanks, I thought it would be that simple. I should really make sure I know all the list commands.

TI-BASIC / list equal list if statement« on: September 02, 2010, 09:41:11 pm »
Is it possible to have "If L1=L2"?
Specifically, I'm trying to add two lists together and see if they equal a third. I realize this is possible through a For( loop, but it seems too simple not to have a command that does this. 618

Hello and welcome here. I can't answer your questions about the Nspire, but I'm sure someone else here can.
Oh, and your peanuts should be arriving shortly. 621

Yeah, I'll probably do that. I was also considering adding difficulty levels (2 keys, 1 key).
I'll post a screenshot when I can. Now I'm off to come up with ideas for the title screen. 622

49. All apps use totally different key hooks, so make sure to constantly switch between running Mirage, xLib, DCS, Omnicalc, etc. until you get all of their functions working simultaneously.
50. Using DCS 7's ON + STAT Function while in the MODE menu is an excellent idea. 51. BrandonW's Fake Mem Clear program doesn't mess with your RAM at all. Therefore, never archive any programs before using it. 623

Well, I've basically finished the key puzzle program. It's very similar to the game in the link Builderboy posted. You lower the teeth on a key, and insert into a lock. If all the wires or whatever line up, the lock opens. The trick is, you can't raise the teeth on the key, only lower them. The user can toss their old key and get a new one, but they only get three keys.
Currently, I've got the height of the wires at a set length, so it's the same if you try again (after you use all the keys). I'm considering making the wire heights random, so if they use up the keys and try again, the puzzle will be different. Suggestions? 624

Isn't wasn't really bad at all. I just ran the program, and DCS came up with an error message. The first layer data was all messed up and the second layer was gone, but I only had to recall two strings and everything was fixed.

Wow. Did you write all those? If so, those are great!
Also, welcome to Omni. Your peanuts will be arriving shortly. EDIT: Just saw DJ's post. I thought the 3d grapher looked familiar, but I wasn't sure. And yeah, stealing stuff isn't cool. 626

Phew. close call. My map program got screwed up and I almost lost all 3840 characters. Luckily, I had the strings stored in memory from the last execution. Disaster averted.

I agree that generally, the screens are readable. However, maybe we should have it be like watch lights. You know, blue/green light, stays on for a few seconds with option to turn it on longer.

We should compile all these similar articles (this one, submitting files on ticalc, writing reviews on ticalc) into one place.
And we should make more! How to *not* write a game, (you lost) anyone? 630
