Miscellaneous / Re: Woah guys, it's been 4 years.

For me that'll be 3 years next month. Well I can't say that it feels like I registered yesterday, as I really worked hard on (what I see as) great projects over the months, with my own prides and shames (Spaceship Games was really lame ... and Worms is being awesome). The main feeling is that Omnimaga is some part of a family, acting like a family.

Do you know a family where nobody ever had an argument or got mad at any other member of the same family ? Of course it doesn't exist. Do you know a family where all members support each other ? That's not always the case, but it is (greatly) for Omnimaga, and that's what's good about it.

So thanks to those that made Omnimaga possible, to those that didn't have any significant role in making Omnimaga possible (like me duh) and to those that make the others lose every evening ;D keep it rolling !

TI-Nspire / Re: [Ndless] n2DLib

If a load-image-from-file function must be written, it will load an image from a .bmp file. Nobody puts an image into a raw file, much less decompressed R5G6B5 image data. Besides, the function will have to deal with the BMP format, what your function doesn't do.

If you think that could be a good addition in the lib, then I'll probably work on an all-BMP loading function.

Problem: create an appvar with no software to actually do that and no Internet. Also, no knowledge of an appvar's format, PC-side.

Workaround :
  • Compile code.
  • Hex-edit the resulting 8xp.
  • Change the first 0x06 you encounter with a 0x15 (on the TI, 6 is type "program" and $15 is type "appvar").
  • Send it to Wabbitemu, because invalid checksum if you try to send it to your calc.
  • Import it back from Wabbitemu.
  • Send.

I would like to suggest that someone port Supertux (http://supertux.lethargik.org/) to the TI nSpire, I think it uses SDL

Someone is already working on it : https://www.github.com/Choups314/supertux-nspire

I think we need more projects. Because right now there's only one project, it's Basic, and not everyone does Basic. There are many dead projects, it shouldn't be too hard to find some more.

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Features Wishlist
« on: August 28, 2014, 02:54:00 pm »
We're saying #Realloc() already serves another purpose. It's used to relocate the A-θ vars to another address. For instance, #Realloc()r and #Realloc()rr would probably work.

I've talked to Runer112 about it some time ago, and he said the PC was very hackish in the Axe compiler, so adding those features is very unlikely to happen before Axe 2.0.

I'm rather good at C. I was told my C++ looked very C-ish. But I don't know Linux-specific programming nor wxWidgets.
