I once took a metals class in school. I can solder in a pinch (although feel a little nervous about doing it, given my relative lack of experience).

For not-equal-to, the following tokens are accepted:
!= =! ≠ (=/= is a good idea, though -- I'll add support for it). Accepted tokens for ►Dec: >Dec ►Dec 168

I bought mine from Staples (I think) 2 years ago -- the summer of 2009? It was just before I entered high school.
It's a bit trickier for my brother -- he's just entering high school, and inherited his calculator from a cousin who just finished college. I have no idea when she bought her calculator, and for that matter where -- she lived in a different country before she moved here. 172

I think he's trying to build an interpreter that will actually run a TI-Basic program from the computer.

Back then, tokenizing text was very mysterious to me, and I wasn't sure if I was capable of programming such a thing. Converted text files should have no problem compiling now 175

Miscellaneous / Re: I'm Leaving« on: July 16, 2011, 07:30:13 pm »It's funny how I right away got a -1 for my post. What is it, are you mad because you're envious and jealous of people who actually do have a decent youth? If not, tell me what it is, I'm genuinely interested to know why you're all so edgy and hateful. Well, like Broseph Radson said, we do all like programming, especially programming on calculators here at Omnimaga. As a result, comments like... don't waste your time doing useless autistic things on your calculator....tend to rub us the wrong way. Your behavior thus far on this forum has generally been unnecessarily harsh. Tone it down, please, and review the rules at http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=2 -- specifically rule #1. Omnimaga has always had a culture of being friendly and open -- let's keep it that way, please. 177
The Axe Parser Project / Re: Features Wishlist« on: July 16, 2011, 03:40:03 pm »
Not really a feature request, but I noticed that the syntax for returning the address of a label is...
Code: [Select] ∟LBL ...whereas the syntax for returning the address of a variable is...Code: [Select] °VAR ...which seems kind of inconsistent to me.I don't really care if this gets changed or not -- just commenting 178
