Heh. That's pretty funny.
Any reason you picked 4chan in general?

Perhaps only programs that are reasonably ready to use (either far enough in development to be worth developing, or completely finished) should be added to the list?

Question: in program descriptions, is it more professional to keep it short and simple, or lengthy with a full speech about how great it is? What is the appropriate length and content material for such a description?

TI Z80 / Re: Logisim Axe« on: December 04, 2010, 03:49:37 pm »
Wouldn't it be awesome if somebody could emulate the z80 microprocessor using this program?
Then wouldn't it recursively awesome if somebody could simulate the entire TI OS and run TI-Basic programs on the emulator? Even more awesome: use Logisim to simulate an z80 microprocessor, which happens to be running Logisim, which in turn is simulating another z80 microprocessor running Logisim... 680
The Axe Parser Project / Re: List : all program Axe Parser.« on: December 04, 2010, 11:03:37 am »What is wrong with the minigame btw? I remember this and it looked awesome. Does it randomly crash or something? Well, I don't know. I think I remember seeing some dubious screenshots of it, plus occasionally the sprites/obstacle things stop appearing at all. Also, I don't think I've ever added a check to make sure that the number of objects doesn't exceed the spaces in L1. I haven't had a crash, but it still makes me a bit nervous. 681

Things that work, no bugs, decent code:
Minesweeper Unoptimized Conway's game of life (near bottom of page) Piano simulator (scroll to bottom of forum page, needs headphones) Things that are in progress: Light (primarily shadow-casting stuff, at this point) Ugly things: A minigame I suspect might do nasty things to your calc: A version of Falldown with ugly code + isn't completely bug-free 682

1] Having a readme that gives more info then just a generic "I hope you enjoy this program"!
2] Having a game that gives clear instructions to run, and even better, a game that works out of the box. 3] If using Axe or Assembly, having usable menus (no keys that need to be lightly tapped to prevent overshooting, for example). 4] It has to be thoroughly tested - if you haven't extensively beta-tested it, it's not ready for full release. 5] Having standardized menus or interfaces. Keeping the keys consistent (The [CLEAR] button acts predictably, for instance) 6] Respecting calculator conventions. In most programs you can rely on clear, del, or mode to allow you to exit, for example. 684
Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Where did IRC go?« on: December 03, 2010, 01:39:24 am »
Try portableapps.com
With a bit of searching, I think you should find something that fits. Let me know when you find one, and what you did to configure it. IRC is still a bit mysterious for me. 685

Yes...
Worst mistake ever. ![]() Now wait a moment. If Code: [Select] <_< gives this ![]() >_> return an emoticon looking the other way? (a secret emoticon, maybe?) 686

Ah, okay. I was afraid that there was something wrong with my laptop, but guess not.

I'm browsing on a laptop right now, and IRC/chat appears to have disappeared. Is it just for me, or is weirdness going on?

I salute you, Iambian. Your version of the program is easily 9001 times cooler then mine. Now, let's see if I can get mine to go faster... 690
Axe / Re: Importing picture variables?« on: November 29, 2010, 08:25:27 pm »
Wait, if the size of the screen is 768 bytes, shouldn't picvars invariably also have a set number of bytes?
