But I didn't start yet. I only made an intro movie, and my procrastination technique now is taking a vote on which side of the split screen will hold the map.

How about something dramatic, like

"Take control of your destiny, and the pokemons' as well..."

At least an 83+ demo that convinces us to get 89's?

Site Feedback and Questions / How did you find Omnimaga?
« on: January 21, 2006, 03:22:00 pm »
Basically it went like this:

I got a TI-84+SE in June for high school.
In July I miraculously found ticalc.org and started the tutorials.
In September I started clicking the links to most sites in the calc-ring.
I found unitedti, which looked pretty good, but didn't join yet for lack of programming skill.
Then November I decided tifreak's RPG starter kit was good enough for me to make a good maze game (since all it told me straight out was map storage).
I joined UTI with the hopes of making a big maze that would revolutionize the calc world. I was like a noob making a guessing game, I thought it would be loved by everyone.
I had found omnimaga before this, but didn't announce my game there (here) because I knew it wasn't an RPG.

Now its been half a year, i'm no better than when I started, and i'm making an RPG to show it!

I found omnimaga through a link.

EDIT: just look at my ego...this isn't a real edit :Pblah.gif

Poll is up, please http://www.unitedti.org/index.php?showtopic=4270.

Would you rather have the map on the top (graph) or the bottom (home)?
Top would mean better graphics.
Bottom would mean scrolling, with better menus on the top half of the screen.

I remember from the intro once Prof. Oak stopped talking a big sprite of you was shown which shrunk into the normal little sprite. Can you do this, but into the ASCII?

In comparison with the original Red/Blue, yours will be better because it has no glitches!

Now that it is a latest discussion I seem to care; this looks nice!
But I'm bad at puzzles. :(sad.gif

Even more dramatic than midnight: reveal one winner every month.

Starting of course in November.
