That's still not that hard to work out.

So if it won't scroll, here's the idea expanded for different map subsections:
You store the X/Y coordinates of the boulder AND X/Y coordinates of the subsection and edit when appropriate.
Boulders don't appear on the main world map iirc, only in dungeons. Leaving the cave would obviously reset the boulder coordinates, no problem at all!

If it does scroll:
Same thing, just edit it a little.

Just have a Boulder be a special NPC that loads on the map after the main map loads. When you're coordinates overlap, the Boulder is shifted.
I did the same thing in my VERY old WoM walking demo; it isn't that hard.

Strength is easy! Just have the boulders count as another class of NPCs that you can move when the strength flag is set ;)wink.gif

How would you do Seafoam or even Victory Road without strength?

I know there were different options for the border in the game, but the calc screen isn't exactly big enough for that...
That border is good; I can't think of anything better in its place but Spelli probably could :Dbiggrin.gif

Well, I didn't actually add " and -> to the prog yet, as it would require some external variables from the user.
But to get a quote, make a prog with Input Str1 and put in a quote.
STO is a little more fun; enter a storing equation on the homescreen, go into Y= editor, 2nd + Entry, delete the extra chars, and Equ->Str for the win.

I made a program with all the characters you can access (on an 84+SE; I've been told there are problems with it on an 83+).
That includes quote and the STO-> arrow.
