TI Z80 / War of Mmruda: Discussion

It's good to see you work on this. The earlier discussions about this project are what brought me here to Omnimaga, and also inspired me to do BSR.

Thanks :Dbiggrin.gif
You're a good motivational speaker :)smile.gif

Good news, I finalized the eight stats! Only took two full years...
I have decided that instead of doing the battle system next, I'll go in the order that the game will progress: the rest of the intro, walking, the slaying of all the innocents of the village, *decides to not give away more spoilers*

I might get a little confused with it because me and a friend are also finally starting the basis of the MMORPG version too.

Mmruda is coming...

I can imagine taking a test and out saying "Function completed. X=32" then everyone else listening and copying it :Dbiggrin.gif

Color... give it RBG and at least 100x200 pixel screen, and I say yes.

So TI didn't like the timer idea they started with the 84+?

You can never have too much memory :)smile.gif Same for powerful functions, though I'm sure the nspire programmers will figure out some nice hacks.

I remember what happened the last time we held a level making contest, so I don't think that would work out as good as it sounds like it would...

I like this game! Just made it to room 5.

Edit: I look back and there's a wall on top of me :Dbiggrin.gif
I finished, and I like it. I don't have much criticism to give this time, the speed and size are alright, but the replayability is low (I know its only the demo, but have you considered the possibility of randomly generated levels?)
9.5/10

(You might want to rename the topic, it made me lose The Game.  >.< lol)
Where's the latest demo at?

Distance is only a perception of space, and perceptions are usually wrong (I know talking about politics and religion isn't very acceptable, but that's whay I mean ;)wink.gif)
You don't need to see them, you just need to know they are 'there'. Not there as in like there in whatever latitude/longitude, just there like existing. You could telepathically contact me with only the name Radical Pi if you wanted. That actually sounds like a good idea; anyone up for contacting me?

So the string didn't do the ZOMG-spasms again.
I'm moving on to telepathy tomorrow.

I don't think I mentioned the String here yet...
@ school, first period, the front of the room, hanging from the pull-down map is the string to pull it down. Hard to describe, unless you just know what I'm talking about, and I think most of you will.
Well, the whole time I've been using that string as practice TK. Making it move back and forth, yeah. The way it would sway if there was a wind (which there isn't)
Today, I did it again. BUT this time, I went off thinking about Star Wars and thought "Hey, why don't I try asking the string's Midi-chlorians (the Force makers) to move it for me?" And guess what happened next...
The absolute bottom of the string went spastic back and forth, while the rest of the string was stationary. Picture your hand frozen and shivering faster than your eye can see it with your arm fine.
And I just sat there staring. Best birthday present I could ever get :Dbiggrin.gif

And yes, I was able to make it happen again, and so was the guy in front of me (the pseudoskeptic, not like the other one that said this was the work of convection currents...)
