Nice then, a game with this much effort into even the dialogue should be good.
Here's an idea: use Omnicalc. With it you can have a new font/characters for your language, and sound. And if you keep it in ASCII you can make the sprites directly into the character set. Or you can use omnicalc's sprite(), but I think we all agree it should die.

Also, can you teach me the language? :)smile.gif

My code was the bare minimum. It is basically kalan's without a loop, which WILL work. Faster and Smaller, right? I'd expect so, but I'm only good with this in theory. :)smile.gif

Is that a genuine conlang (artificially constructed language like Esperanto) or a simple Find/Replace one word into another?
As long as the story gets an unexpected twist I'll like it.

I have sadly misplaced my handdrawn map of Mmruda. Thus my first task shall be recreating it in Paint and renaming all the towns.

I would love to see any partially done version. Even if it just acknowledges I'm there, I would be impressed.
It having a full conversation with me, understanding what I'm saying and understanding what IT'S saying on more than a binary level... The concept of perception fascinates me, and so will this project.
