I can't help with down links, except upload it somewhere else ^^, but I've noticed recently most of my posts were short sentences with a link at the end.

The scrolling idea is good, but shouldn't change speed too dramatically. Right now the scrolling is in a For( loop but to speed it that will eventually be a very long Output(. Speed vs Memory, here amphetamines wins. ;)wink.gif
I wanted to try to replicate the real SM is best I can, but not if it goes to slow.

I got a string to around 6430 once. Mixing memory-heavy lowercase letters throws it off.

length(Str1)=1024 is the largest I've worked with on a daily basis.

Then there are those 805 element lists I used in a scrolling plot maze...

Learning everything on their own would be too harsh.
But if they knew they could figure things out for themselves...That's why big breakthroughs don't happen much anymore. (Excluding the fact that there isn't much left to discover in Basic.)

I could never get Gimp to work for me, so I stuck with this classic.
