How many pages of code do you think it'd be if you printed it?  Please don't print it out though cuz that'd probably be a lot of paper.

Hmmm... If I had to guess, I would guess 200 pages. O_Oshocked2.gif

But... You are in luck!  :love:love.gif

I just counted 300 pages. :gah:fou.gif

Wow very great job Ranman. I love coding marathons! :)smile.gif

I had to finish the code before I forgot my ideas. <_<dry.gif

Plus... UV has so much code right now, it is beginning to get unmanageable -- almost. I wouldn't want to forget where I left off. That would suck! :gah:fou.gif

I heard it was easier than z80 assembly?

That is what I heard too. But, frankly I have no experience with Z80 assembly. :(sad.gif

I had a coding marathon last night... I stayed up until 3am reworking a large portion of the combat loop to assist with the enemy combat AI. And, I am very pleased with the results! :Dbiggrin.gif

Ultima V is now at 90%  :w00t:woot.gif

Is the current 68 k version not pure Assembly?

 Somewhere around 95% C and 5% 68K ASM.

68K ASM is fun to mess around with... but not that much fun. ;)wink.gif

I'm sure it's *possible,* just absurdly difficult.

True... 83+ is most likely out of the question. "Possibly" an 83+SE or an 84+, but even that would require pure assembly. o.oblink.gif

UV has over 600Kb of data files alone. With the TTPack compression utilities, I have managed to compress the data files to less than 200Kb. But not all of the data files are compressed. It requires RAM to uncompress the data; so I had to find a balance between what to compress and what to keep uncompressed.

You remember walking over a bridge and getting ambushed by a gang of trolls. The trolls demand a toll... You can pay the toll for safe passage, but if you refuse they will attack you. Well... both options are now working.  B)cool.gif

Also, if you remember, when you piss off the town folk (NPCs in the towns), they will call the guards. The guards will chase you down relentlessly. If they catch you, they will place you under arrest. You have 2 choices... go quietly to prison or fight your way out of the circumstances. Well... both options are now working.  B)cool.gif

Stay tuned for some new screenies. :ninja:ninja.gif

Mic from TI-Bank was kind enough to get me the names of the pokemon in french... ^_^ Something else I can add to the game :)smile.gif

Pokemon in French... that would be cool.

Would all of the NPC dialogs be in French too! :???:confus.gif

Delta force is largly multiplayer though, (it has a huge campaign, but I think multiplayer is the main part)

Delta Force has always had single player and multi-online player capabilities.

I much prefer the single player campaigns. :Dbiggrin.gif They are designed well and fun and alot of them! Again... I'm speaking about DF 1 & 2.. All of the other DF games suck!

In my opinion, multi-online player FPS suck! -.-blah.gif What is so fun about everyone running around killing each other? Plot?

Anyways, in response to Ranman, they are only the best games ever created. ;)wink.gif

For FPS, I think Delta Force 1 & 2 are the best. Some of the night campaigns can actually startle the poo-poo out of you. :gah:fou.gif

However, Delta Force went down hill beginning with number 3. :(sad.gif And now DF: Blackhawk Down (#5) is the standard run-of-the-mill FPS which forces you down a specified path and unable to deviate from (which I hate in today's games).   <_<dry.gif

I will have to try Half Life 1 & 2 at some point. :)smile.gif
