Well, the idea is that you have the ability to make time portals and extract warriors from all periods of time.

Yeah. Sending more soldiers is a Tactic you can use as a CO.
It can change the battle in your favor very quickly. Say you start the battle with Squads 2 and 3. (10 units) Your opponent starts with Squads 1, 2, and 3. (15 units) Your squad, through valiant efforts, kill 4 units. However, your opponent leave you with one man standing. Use the Tactic to send in more Squads and suddenly, the battle is 16 to 6. 1103

It's like this:
There is a deployment screen where the player can customize the squad members and change the equipment of the individual soldiers. Then, the player presses [START] and the battle begins. So... yeah. Pseudo-real-time strategy game. 1104
