I've never heard it either, a quick google shows it to be tool assisted speedrun.

That does sound pretty cool.
I think it would be epic, because some would zoom through levels, but might trap themselves and start a level over, so it could end up quite interesting.

Wow, that was because I just quickly put up some test text for YouTube Direct. I didn’t know that it would change my actual file.

Yeah, I got the same when I uploaded a .avi file, but you should probably be able to change it easily enough.
Also, do you think you might be able make an upload progress bar, such as this one
http://www.johnboy.com/php-upload-progress-bar/
Sorry to be demanding, especially since you just finished making this, but that is certainly nice to look at while a big file is uploading.

I think it might be working. I uploaded a test file.

I just started PHP today, so I don’t know very much, but it seemed like the error had to do something with the file type. It didn’t want to register it as accepted.
Also, I think you might be able to upload text with this.
I found this and changed a few things, but it needs to be changed a bi too, because it was meant for images.

Code: [Select]
<html>
<form name="upload" method="POST" action="upload.php">
Title: (limit 50 characters)<br />
<input type="text" name="title" maxlength="32" style="width:200px;" /><br /><br />
Message: (YouTube limits 1000 characters)<br />
<textarea name="message" cols="60" rows="20"></textarea><br /><br />
Upload Image: (.mp4, .wmv, .avi, .flv, and less than 200MB in size.)<br />
<input type="file" name="image" id="image" style="color:#fff;" />
<br /><br />
<input type="submit" name="upload" value="Upload" />
</form>`
</html>

Mine was just my view of what it might should look like. It seems like Spyro hasn’t done much to update it yet, and nobody has uploaded any videos, then again we first need to fix Ruler’s PHP code.

Sadly, I don’t think that the channel design can be changed all that much to look different, but I add these changes to a little faux test account I made.

(Note: this is a test account, so don’t subscribe)

I think you should add something to submit text with it too. That shouldn't be as problematic as submitting files. That way people can submit their name, as well as the description and title.

I hope someone can help ruler and we can use that, but if not we could use the email site to email the videos to those with the password, though that would be a sad excuse for a system.

I doubt this would work, because I believe this is entirely meant for YouTube Direct, but when I compiled it all, I could embed something in a simple html file that led to a YouTube widget.
I wonder if it would be possible to view the source and use it, but I know even less of web programming.

Actually, don’t do what I suggested.
I sent a 70 MB file to an account yesterday, and the account hasn’t received it yet.
I sent a 700 KB file from my Gmail today and it immediately got there.
I sent the same file from the other account, and it hasn’t gotten there.
So unless any of you can get it to work, this isn’t a viable solution. I think Ruler’s idea is better. Or my other idea if it could upload to the account.

Somebody should make an end card for this.
I would, but the only photo editing software I have is paint, and the only video editing software I have is Windows Movie Maker.

Although, is your boxing day bigger than our boxing day? (Well, we don’t call it boxing day, just the day after Christmas)
Stores open at around 8 and have some pretty good sales. Stores like to sell a lot of stuff, so it might actually be the same size as your boxing day.
