Computer Programming / Scratch Language« on: February 11, 2014, 05:08:23 pm »
Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is a programming language designed for teaching programming.
Read, don't ask. http://scratch.mit.edu/about/ I am working at becoming proficient at Scratch so I can teach it to kids for my Senior project service hours. I have created several projects I am proud of, and would like to share with you . The young, and novice users their site is flooded with does not make very good company. This is me: http://scratch.mit.edu/users/RobomanDude/ I spent a lot of time on this particular project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/16131798/ Teaching programming to a new generation just sounds so cool! 4

Pokémon Purple / Re: Pokemon Purple« on: October 20, 2013, 11:42:48 am »
I don't think you can get a very recent version, the last demo was released quite a while ago.
Also, it is usually not the best idea to necro-post a thread just to ask for a download... 11

there should be a precedent to post that you are participating... but no 'rule' and no requirement to make a topic
also, YIKES, the deadline is all the way in NOVEMBER??? over a month... i just can't win :'( the way i work simply more time does not make it much better... adds cluinky features and the value of the project slowly degrades (btw i have my entry done already -.-) 13

News / Re: Server maintenance and Possible Down Time« on: September 21, 2013, 07:33:01 am »
Wow! So much cheaper and so much better
The only potential issue I see is what happens when you hit the 2TB cap (if ever ) Some people attacking the server may force it to hit the 2TB cap 15
