Gaming Discussion / Zelda discussion
« on: February 22, 2013, 02:33:46 am »
Why?
Because I can :P

So, the first zelda game I ever played is twilight prinzess.
Then I played skyward sward but stopped after 1/3rd due to other stuff like knex and programming.
Now recently i started playing zelda games again, I finished now also a link to the past and i'm working on links awakening and majoras mask.
I also bought ocarina of time as i got majoras mask over the shop channel and iirc wii points expire......

So, how about you guys?

Other Calculators / Help with recording calc screen
« on: February 09, 2013, 01:19:50 am »
I use archlinux.
Well, recording to a gif with wabbitemu i can do.
Then, i want to convert the gif to a video file and scale it up to 1920x1080 pixels, but i don't want the blur, i want it pixelated.
VirtualDub does work under linux, but according to runer and clac84 the gifs that wabbitemu are so optimized that the frames don't have all the same length so i wanne know now how to convert that stuff.
I was never very good at explaining.
Thanks in advice.

OmnomIRC Development / OmnomIRC second on other website
« on: February 05, 2013, 09:25:28 pm »
Sooooooo, I thought i'd just test how long it'll actually take to put omnomirc on a other website - I picked mine!
Eventually I got it working:

Well, the biggest problems were checkLogin.php and to hook it up to irc as i had to mod source files, in case of checkLogin, create totally new source files.
Well, It took maybe like 3h to set it up now, but for a bigger forum it would be totally worth it.
And the installation script does make some stuff easier, you just still have to program checkLogin.php on your own.
Oh, and to use it on my website, you need to be logged into www.sorunome.de (important with the www. because of how I handle cookies and that checkLogin.php)

OmnomIRC Development / /ignore on OmnomIRC
« on: January 14, 2013, 08:51:49 pm »
As already suggested a few times, it would be cool to have a /ignore and a /unignore feature on OmnomIRC.
And I volunteer for helping coding if nobody wants to code that :D
Well, I don't care to much in which language I have to code as I already know so many, so language is no problem for me when helping :D

« on: January 10, 2013, 10:34:27 pm »
Hey, I already wondered this a long time: How do I handle sockets on the server? I know how to do it on the client, and I mean more a general concept, but I put it in C/C++ programming help as for specific code examples i'd be good in C++.
Thanks for any help :D

Other Calculators / Should I buy a new calc?
« on: January 10, 2013, 06:09:30 pm »
Hey, I only have a TI 84+ (non-SE), and I am taking AP Calculus.
I have noticed already when using the calculator in class that I can't do everything because the TI-89 titanium (which everybody else has) has better software.
My teacher also recommends to get a TI-89, and I'm wondering, should I get a new calculator for the AP test I'll be taking (AP Calculus AB and BC), and if yes, should it be a 89? Or is a nspire cx the better choise then?
Please help me :D
