I still wouldn't update it if I was you as you might regret you did in future. Again, there is no gain in updating, the only thing that changes is losing ndless capability.

As calc84c pointed out on #omnimaga, yes, it is true! A sequel to chips challenge has been released today on steam! You can get it here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/348300/

It is quite awesome that more than 25 years after the original game came out they finally made a sequel!

Along with Chip's Challenge 2 they also released a re-make of the first one and a level editor!
